It's been mentioned here before but there's a plus now. Downside - it's only for those who live in the US.
Amazon.com has "Big Kahuna Reef" for free from here: http://www.amazon.com/Big-Kahuna-Reef-Game-Download-PC/dp/B001K7HV3Q/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1250216378&sr=8-3
If you scroll down a little bit, you'll see that by "buying" this game, you will receive a $5.00 credit toward MP3s. Again, it's only for the US market.
You might have to email (or call) them to get the credit. I did. It says you get the credit when your product ships but this is a download situation. What shipping?
When I asked about it, I got a credit for $5.97! Amazon.com also has some MP3 albums for $5.00! I got and oldie (but a goodie) - Simon and Garfunkel Live in New York in 1967. 19 selections for the total of $5.00! I don't know what I'll use the $0.97 for.
You do have to have their Games and Software downloader to get the game and for albums, you do have to download their MP3 downloader. You do not need the MP3 downloader if you only do single songs. You might have to adjust your start-up settings to prevent these downloaders from loading automatically at boot time. I had to do that for the DVD downloader but not for the MP3 and I don't remember about the Game/Software downloader. You can fix it using msconfig (for XP or the Software Explorer in Windows Defender for Vista).
Still not bad - free game and free music! Even if you purchase a game, you get the free music. It's only good this month and the credits have to be used by the end of September!
