While Explorer has caused tons of complaints, e.g., poor performance, I've tolerated it so far, once I reverted to the Win10 Explorer menus using W11ClassicMenu [sordum[.]org]. But lately it's started really annoying me, randomly showing groups &/or adding a bar starting with Organize. I found an alternative called Explorer++. It's small, at only 4MB, and portable Once you set it that way in the app's options -- Otherwise it stores your settings in the registry. [I ran it in a VM, then set the option, and 7-zipped it to transfer to my regular copy of Win11.] It doesn't have a lot of frills, just does what it's supposed to, and context menus etc. seem identical to what I see in Windows Explorer.
