Linux Mint 22.3 is now available. To update from the previous version run the Update Mgr., which may itself require an update, clicking the refresh button to show the available updates. Afterward the option to update to Linux Mint 22.3 should be available in the Update Mgr. menu. As I've posted earlier I've got Linux Mint on an SSD in a USB housing. The updates didn't take long at all, and afterward back in Win11 created a disk image backup using Macrium Reflect. While the drive won't show up in Windows [besides the USB icon in the notification area] it is visible in apps like Macrium Reflect. Windows may not understand or recognize the file system used, but that's irrelevant to disk image backup software which just basically clones the 1s & 0s.
