Rather than having to rely on a web browser, NVIDIA's bringing native support for GeForce NOW, which should be a welcome boost to those using the service & running, or those who wish to run Linux.
An answer to the high cost of gaming PCs/laptops, and a way to play anywhere using any connected device, cloud gaming uses servers in the cloud to actually run the games, with you in control remotely. GeForce NOW requires that you own the games you want to play, and has introduced a 100 hour per month cap on the service. Microsoft Xbox cloud gaming service is tied to their Game Pass subscriptions, which lets you play a selection of titles you do not own. Both services will work with free-to-play games like Fortnight.
