In Win11 Auto Discovery is enabled by default, which means that if you navigate to a folder in Explorer that has a Lot of files, it can take a while since the PC/laptop has to stop & look at everything. To turn Auto Discovery off copy/paste the following into a plain text file, name that file [SomeName].reg. then double click it to merge with the registry.
