The game bar will open in Win10 but reports are it'll crash when clicking Options. No word yet on if this is intentional on Microsoft's part or something broken that they'll hopefully fix. For many [most?] gamers it's not a showstopper, but for those running an AMD X3D CPU it's critical... the extra cache on the X3D CPU is only on 1 of the CCDs [chips], and the chipset drivers will automatically send everything to that CCD when playing a game. In that case the game bar is responsible for telling the AMD drivers that the running software is a game -- without that you lose the extra gaming performance these CPUs are capable of.
