This is almost a portable app -- everything is in the program's folder [in Program Files (x86)], & the registry is only used for the activation / registration key. It *might* be possible to use it in the future portably, registering it as needed. When the installation finished it popped up a notice suggesting I download & install the Microsoft 2005 C/C++ runtime files -- I did not, and it seemed fine. It does not include the option to save a scan & work on it later that I could see.
