Someone(s) managed to get an ad for GIMP, the open source image editing app, in Google Ads, so it would show up if/when you searched for the software. And they also managed to have the ad show the legitimate URL, though that Was NOT where clicking the link took you -- if you downloaded what you thought was the GIMP setup file, you got malware instead.
