can someone tell me in the tweaker section there is an option to "copy recovery console to your hard drive"....what is this for, or do? I guess I'm not exactly sure what the recovery console is, that is, if it isn't the OS. thanks

Hi, surfi, sorry I can't give you any advice, but a simple Google search shows a lot of answers:
"recovery console" :
http://www.google.de/search?q=recovery+console&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:de:official&client=firefox-aWhen this is not enough, you have to wait some time until a more tech savvy user will help us.
Meanwhile have a look at wizzard's new game:

thanks Notblocklox, neither XPtweaker or the link in the link you gave worked to get the Recovery Console copied. XPtweaker didn't do anything after I put the OS CD in. And looking through the link you put up, it gave directions to copy it to the startup folder, I get the message "the program on the cd is older than what is already on your computer" I guess it means that all the updates are installed....guess I'll forget about copying it. It does give instructions to bring it up from the cd, I'll go there only if and when I have to. I thouhgt it would have been helpful to have it copied so it would be easier to get to if I ever needed it.
