A couple few years back I had a problem with Windows Edge browser that annoyed me, though it probably had zero effect on anything otherwise. Edge always showed its cache stored 1GB+, and nothing would/could change that, until KCleaner was on GOTD -- I've kept it ever since, with the portable version of KCleaner the only cleaning app on my drive. That said, I don't use disk cleaners as a rule -- between monitoring software in VMs & occasionally using Wiztree I know pretty much where all the disk hogs and temp files are, & all my browsers are set to delete everything on exit.
You can find the portable version of KCleaner on the KC Softwares' download page -- click the Zip icon. And unlike too many so-called portable apps, this one really is portable, with nothing added to Windows. Installing the app adds the program's folder, a folder in Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Roaming, and probably because I didn't run setup.exe as admin, a folder was added to Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Local\ VirtualStore\ Program Files\. The registry gets 2 new keys, one for uninstall & one for the software.
Clicking Settings under the Options menu lets you select what types of files you're looking to get rid of. I generally use the Expert Mode, then click Simulate, which gives you a list of every file it would delete along with the sizes of each file -- uncheck the boxes for those you want to keep, check them for those you want to delete. Then click Clean. If you're unsure whether deleting something is safe, backup first, or at least set a restore point, or, particularly if it's a really small file, uncheck it, leaving it alone.
