neowin[.]net/news/windows-11-build-22000588-kb5011563-brings--system-requirements-not-met-to-beta-channel/
Microsoft 1st started testing a new watermark that sits above the right side of the taskbar in Win11 Insider builds in the Dev channel, and now they've shown up in the Beta & Preview channels as well, meaning the watermark will *likely* show up on regular copies of Win11 sometime in the future. At least according to these reports / articles...
I have an active Insider account using a V/Box VM, and V/Box currently cannot meet Win11's hardware requirements. Because of that Microsoft limits that VM to the Win10 Insider preview channel. While I was able to install an Insider build of Win11 to that VM, using the same Insider account, it's Not recognized as an Insider copy of Windows, & has Not received a single Insider update. Long story short, I'm unsure how they're getting Win11 Insider updates on unsupported hardware, & I cannot verify the watermark they talk about.
That said, if you're running, or plan to run Win11 on unsupported hardware, you might want to bookmark the following Neowin page telling you how to turn that watermark off in case it does show up in the future.
