Hello
Has somebody the licence code for eXpert PDF Editor version 4.1.670.404 ?
I've installed it under Windows 10. Now, I'm running Windows 11 on another partition and I haven't found how I can register this software ( registration received by giveaway ).

When Windows 10 first came out, you could only get the free activation if you upgraded an activated copy of Windows 7. On a couple of PCs & a VM I wanted to run both versions of Windows, so I performed a complete image backup of Win7, upgraded that copy of Win7 to Win10, then restored that Win7 backup to another partition. I added Win7 to Win10's boot menu with EasyBCD, & had to change one of the partition's Windows-assigned IDs [Admin. Tools -> Computer Management]. All of my software carried over from Win7 to Win10, and to date I haven't had any problems with those copies of Win10.
While some installed software might lose activation, the vast majority did not. If anyone wants to preserve their GOTD apps, and also wants separate copies of Win10 & 11, perhaps that above method might be the best way to go about it.
Some giveaways run in Sandboxie Plus. You can have separate Sandboxie Plus containers for each programme, or use one for all giveaways together. But better do that only for lifelong licences.
Every Sandboxie Plus container can be zipped and stored in a safe place, to be restored if necessary.
It would take a specialized lawyer to find out in what countries this is legal and in what not. Is recovering a backup illegal or not? Giveawayoftheday regularly gives away software that is considered illegal in some countries. In Germany it is even forbidden to post anything on ripping files from a dvd. The owner of the site will be fined heavily. Several thousand euro.
