This is what I use for most all partitioning, and have it installed on all our devices -- it's not that I work with partitions all that much, but in the past [& maybe in the future?] when Win10 version upgrades required a complete Windows (re)install, at least one or two wound up with a 2nd Recovery partition [rather than reusing the existing Recovery partition]. Previous versions would install & register forever -- obviously don't know if that's the case with today's GOTD, but if not, the prior v. 8.5 is more than capable enough. Like Backupper, AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro includes a WinPE version in the program's folder -- it is WinPE only however, and won't run in regular Windows. I have not had any reason for quite some time to try the bootable USB stick with each one of our devices to test compatibility, but when I did so several years ago it did not always work. The WinPE version did work with WinPE bootable USB sticks created using Windows ADK. I have not tried the Windows to Go feature for several years either -- the free Rufus does such a good job for me I haven't had any reason to.
I have once or twice used AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro to move a partition, though I generally prefer to delete & recreate partitions where I need them, then restore the content from a backup. Like every other Windows partitioning app I'm aware of, AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro installs [& requires] drivers, meaning if you want to run it portably you'll have to use something like Cameyo. They have added a tool to create a portable version, but you need an unlimited [not pro] license to use it. Today's GOTD comes in the GOTD wrapper. In the past I've used the free version, which registered fine but remained listed as AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard, not pro. I found an Advanced Edition download on the changelog page this time, which registers fine, & I hope will work in the following days, since I can't get this version upgrade installed everywhere today.
