It's entirely up to you whether you use these sorts of tools or not -- I tend to not -- but I wanted to give a heads up on the install as well as the so-called portable version, in case you needed to add it to additional devices before the GOTD was done.
The portable version does have its differences, as several services, a couple of tasks, and a driver are not added -- most have to do with boot-related optimizations. The portable version also adds Much Less to the registry, with a few keys vs. 663 new entries recorded for the installed version. Both versions add a Glarysoft folder to Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Roaming. And the activation key Is Not stored with the portable version itself, and if you copy the program & its AppData folders to another copy of Windows, the portable version Is No Longer activated.
