Thanks for all the great free software. I was hoping to see a chess game that my son who is a budding chess player can play. I would greatly appreciate something like this.

I don't know, but isn't there plenty of good freeware Chess games out there until GAOTD has one? This might be a good start:

GaOTD has a freeware libary that has a couple different chess games ... Many others also. Check the GoTD home page & follow the links.

I forgot also to thank GAOTD.

I haven't played chess for a few years & I must say, I like this one.

I admit I lost the only game I played.

I will practise some more and hopefully will win!
