I haven't seen this on the page before, down there below Top Giveaways. Has it been mentioned anywhere? What is it and are there any pros or cons?

Looks to me like it's gotd's own version of a download repository for games and various other programs. Not sure what it's bringing to the table, but doesn't look like anything new or innovative that you can't find all over the internet.
