   Funky, Googling kicks out 321k hits for "Nero 7 Essentials", and from that example, I'm guessing it's a "lite" version of Nero's DVD burning software.

   i'm an idiot. i didn't use google (i always forget), i used an inferior search engine (one that i know is inferior.....which is why i'm an idiot), and the only links i got gave me no info.

   About Nero:
   One Desktop I bought last year, came w Nero installed. Back then I didn't know what it did. Still haven't used it yet.
   But in the comments pages, I noticed ppl regularly bashing & poohpooing Nero.
   Why is that? Is it good or not? Or maybe it was good, but not anymore?
   Does anybody know? Should I flush it?

   Everyone forgets, or says/does dumb things. Why, I seem to be perpetually trying to oneup myself on the DITS. (Doing Idiotic Things Scale) Just this week I've stabbed myself with a box cutter, sucked an expensive ring into a completely full vacuum bag and absentmindedly left a frozen porterhouse steak sitting on top of the basement freezer for 4 days, after which only a USDA food inspector would allow it to be served to humans. sigh
   Not quite Darwin Award material, but still idiotic.
