I'm a strong believer in regularly cleaning my Temp files. I usually do it about once a day (or more, if I need to look at the temp files of a program for any given reason). So a day after installing Arcon Toys, I deleted my temp files. Coming back to it after playing a bit with today's game giveaway, I found that all my level progress were gone. A look through Process Explorer pointed to no Registry entries but the Temp directory. Looked in their and found two files recreated: ArconToys.HDT and ArconToys.ini. I remember deleting these files because I thought it was left over by the installation process (silly me, how could WinRAR leave anything like this?). So here you have it. If you're ever going to delete your Temp files and you play Arcon Toys, don't delete the two above mentioned files to avoid losing your profile. If you do lose your profile, you can cheat your progress back. Go grab a hex editor and change the second byte to the hexadecimal equivalent of the level that you were on.
Did you know: Arcon Toys extract its game files from ArconToys.dat into your Temp directory with each file it extract starting with TMP. It only extracts the files it need.
