OK, I totally sympathize with WhiteRabbit over his complaint about the way that Amazon.com treated the Reflexive customers after that buy out. It's not costing me money because the games involved are free but this is still darned irritating!
I got a new PC a little over a month ago and I'm still transitioning my games from the old to the new. I've been working BACKWARDS through my install program zipped backups (because some have been "updated" and this avoids me re-doing them -- if I'm careful).
Today I decided to do the old Sandlot games I got before they were bought out by Digital Chocolate. I had 12 games and wanted to install 7 of them (4 were a type I don't play much and 1 was already replaced to keep it and it's companion together).
I got 2 done and could NOT get them to activate using the codes I had. They failed because they could not find the server to verify the codes. I then tried to contact Digital Chocolate on the issue. The email address I found on the Digital Chocolate site bounced!
I googled to see if I could find something else and found a link to their BBB report. Their BBB accreditation was REVOKED in July of 2012. Check it out here.
Now I'm onto the freebie circuit to see if any of the 8 games are available there!
BOO HISS!!!!!!!
