I downloaded your WINSYS CLEAN X3-64 yesterday or the day before that it was offered. Immediately after and I mean immediately, I ended up with my MS GAMES being wiped out, and i lost all my licenses to all previously installed software, such as my MS OFFICE PRO.
I thought all software was verified CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sort of ticked off at the damage this has caused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been downloading from GOTD since Dec of 2006 and I have never gotten a virus. If there WAS a virus, the download page and the forum would be hopping with posts..
I always cringe when any type of reg cleaner..etc being offered, you always get one that just lets it clean everything without checking or making a backup....

You are not suffering from a virus. All software given away is carefully checked for viruses before it is posted for download by the giveaway team. You are suffering from shooting yourself in the foot by running a registry cleaner and not thoroughly checking its proposed changes before giving the software permission to make all the changes it wants. Registry cleaners are notorious for this and had you read the comments accompanying the giveaway you would have seen many cautions against running this type of software if you don't know what you are doing.
