   i have a dvd disc that has some photos of my grandkids with animation and music but it only plays on my computer it says it is an eam file the program i used said it is an interactive dvd for computer is there any way of converting it to a normal dvd any help would be appreciated

   It would be much easier to answer this if you could find out the name (and if possible, a website) of the software that was used to create the dvd.

   You could always rip the DvD with DVDFab then reburn it with DVD Shrink v3.2.0.15.

   the program was InAlbum deluxe 3 but it wont burn a normal dvd inalbum support are looking at it but they just seem to be giving me the run around i just want to be able to put it on a normal dvd

   I don't know. What do you mean exactly when you say they're giving you the run-around? Did you check the help file to see if you did everything that was required before burning to DVD?
   I wasn't able to find many reviews, and none mention any difficulty with the DVD burning procedure.
   Sadly, I haven't found any information on the EAM filetype save that it might be some kind of audio file.

   I did everything it said to do but when i burn a dvd all i get is the music on the dvd and sounds that i have added but no photos i have sent inalbum the diagnostics and all the other things they asked but no further info yet i can watch my shows on the computer or send them by email a few other people i know are having the same problem as far as i know it only seems to be us in australia thanks for teying everyone much appreciated i love this site hope to see the games team back soon

   http://www.inalbum.com/help30/makingadvd.htm - Is that the option you are using to try to make a normal DVD? - with an interactive menu if you want.

   I'm wondering if it's a missing codec somewhere.

    Anyway - if there was a codec missing, it seems to be it would fail entirely, or something along those lines. Paul, you say you can watch your shows on your computer - do you mean from the DVD, or from the original files with InAlbum?

    I can watch them from both but when i try to burn a normal dvd to put on player it encodes the show to 80% then the thing freezes plus the computer and i have to restart my computer the program is fine with everything else but making a normal dvd

    no i tried to make a normal dvd but when it did'nt work i made an interactive dvd that seems to be the only disc i can make on this program that was why i was hoping to find a way of converting the interactive disc

    Hello,
    I would suggest you try the very knowledgeable and helpful folks over at the After Dawn forums, http://www.afterdawn.com/ ,about burning these files to DVD. If it can be done, they will steer you in the right direction. They have been very helpful to me in the past,and "knock on wood", I have not thrown a disk away in a long time.
    They may want a lot of details on your system, the software and hardware you are using, even the brand of media you are using to burn on.

    It's an update for XP's built-in CD/DVD-burning capability.

    I don't know if InAlbum uses XP's functionality or provides it's own, however.
