I downloaded Drive Copy 11 Professional Special Edition (English)from GAOTD.com yesterday. I installed the program, got my Product key & serial number in the email. I then entered the info into the program & ran it. I got to where I could create a CD/DVD disc image, so I clicked on it and inserted a blank CD as requested. The program started to burn the image & then frooze up. I let the program go for 24 hours before finally having to shut down my computer because the program wouldn't finish the burn & wouldn't close. After restarting my computer I found that all I could find is the Installation Download & not the executeable file. I can't redownload because the giveaway has passed & I'm afraid if I try and use the Product Key & Serial Number on a trial version it wouldn't accept it any way! So what do I do now. Wait until GAOTD offers this product again and hope it doesn't crash & burn like it did this time? I would think that once I entered the required info the program would have been done installing since it stated that I now had an unlocked fully functioning program version. Any thoughts on the subject of being able to salavage this dowload yet? Sincerely, Ron Dunn

It sounds like a compatibility problem. Two alternatives:
1) Disconnect from the internet. Close all programs, including anti-virus, firewall and malware applications. You should have absolutely nothing running in your status bar. Re-run the application and see what happens. If it works then you've got a compatibility problem with one of your applications. That's not a big deal because a drive copy program is very, very seldom used and it's not going to be running in the background. If it doesn't work then you might need to update your CD/DVD player's driver.
2) Check the built-in Windows Error Reporting System, it should tell you what sub-system caused the failure and that will lead you back to the source.

Either you tried to burn a rescue disc from the setup GUI or while running the installed app. If you've got the app installed the ISO you burn should be in the program's folder under Program Files [Program Files (x86) for 64 bit Windows] -- just use your choice of burning apps. However it sounds like you might have tried burning the disc from the setup GUI -- if you didn't install the app first, you might be able to find the ISO &/or the setup files on your hard drive. The setup files would be in a folder named RarSFX0 in your temp folder. Recovery.exe is the name of the app that unpacks the ISO -- I'm not sure the name of the ISO once unpacked.
Normally the files/folders for the setup GUI are deleted after installation, but as this blew up for you hopefully they are still there. If not, maybe the unpacked ISO is? If you search for *.iso, you can download apps to mount ISO files &/or look inside them, or burn it to re-writable disc to see if it's the correct ISO.
You might also try contacting Paragon -- they're very nice folks. :)
