MyPlayCity.com's games aren't bad so long as you make the kitten cry (turn off the hijacking of the home page) and they are still offering a new game every day.
However, today's game is a bit weird. It's a match-3 game called "Dragon's Abode". The default language is RUSSIAN! It's pretty obvious to enter your player name first try and the title and your name are in English but all the menu options are, by default, Russian!
It can be changed and one lucky guess and OLD OLD OLD Russian in school (1 year in high school > 40 years ago and 1 semester in college > 35 years ago) helped!
Just click on the MIDDLE (3rd from the top) option to get to the option menu. That was my lucky guess. :)
The very bottom option is the language setting. Just click the arrows to change it to English. I don't know if other than English and Russian are included. I remembered enough of my old classes to recognize the word "Russian" in Russian.
I also recognized their word for "Music" for that volume indicator but that's not needed if you get the language fixed.
I have no idea why this game is this way. MPC has over 600 games and I have about 112 of them. This is the first time I've ever seen this behavior.
I'm doing my good deed for the day (now I can be mean) by helping those who like match 3 games but don't know Russian!
As a match 3, it's a bit different. Instead of just clearing the "gold" tiles, you match to clear blocks. Besides those that form a pattern when the level starts, more drop from the top! You have to clear the blocks before any column reaches the top. That's a bit of a twist to the old game.
