If you've gotten iWin games (specifically the Mah Jong Quest and Jewel Quest series), you may want to uninstall what you have and then download and install the latest versions on MyPlayCity.com.
Specifically, there was a problem with 2 sets of games. There were some games that shared the same profile so when you created a player and set options for one game, it automatically set them for others.
I found that Mah Jong II and Mah Jong III shared profiles so much that if you progressed in one game, the other game thought you progressed to the same level! That's a serious problem unless you carefully create two different players and then you have to keep changing them back and forth if you do the games that way.
I also found that Mah Jong, Jewel Quest III and Jewel Quest Mysteries: Curse of the Emerald Tear shared the same profile and they are 3 totally different games -- MahJongg, Match-3 and HOG! In that case, you kept having to change the full-screen/windowed setting because the windowed setting is fine for mahjongg and match-3 but not for a HOG.
I complained to MPC about it and got NOTHING! I complained to iWin about it and was told they knew about it so don't send again. Then they they didn't know about it and would just watch the situation and CLOSED my ticket. I was not happy. I refused to accept that and sent back with more evidence. I sent them more profile evidence from my Public files over the weekend and that seems to have been the key.
I got an email from them today that the problem was fixed but I might have to uninstall and re-install. They didn't say re-download but that was a given! Both shared cases are fine now. Of the 5 games, only Mah Jong III did not start from scratch. It was the base of that shared profile so it still knew who I was and what my settings were, despite a "Moderate" level Revo-Uninstall.
If you have more than one of these 5 games, you should re-do the game. I don't know about Jewel Quest (original) because that was too buggy and I scrapped it. I have Jewel Quest II free from Amazon so it's not in the picture and Jewel Quest Mysteries: Trail of the Midnight Heart was done properly with it's own profile all along.
Just trying to help anybody else who ran into this mess! iWin finally came through (on this one).
