I guess MyPlayCity.com got a lot of negative feedback with that stunt of forcing you to "agree" to the hijacking of the homepage and search engine. It wasn't even that effective. After the first "correction", the only thing it did was make me reset IE and it locked up Opera. It didn't do anything to Opera, just locked it up in limbo so I had to use Task Manager to bring it down so it could come up!
They have changed that now. At the current time (who knows how long this will last), they are among the nicest of these free installs. There is a single option at the very beginning to change your home page. Above that is some "ad" about "keeping free games free" and if you uncheck the option, the character in the screen looks like he's pouting! However, the "next" button stays active. Normal options for selecting where to put the install and the shortcut follow with a clean install.
They have just gone from the HARDEST to install (but the most games) to one of the easiest to install.
Let's hope it stays this way!
