Hi, as you don't give us any info about your system, the error message or what you have done, I can only give you the advice to read the FAQs:

How can you see it's not activated?
Please use the FAQ as a check list.
Do you have any proxi? Firewall? AV programme? All that can be involved. Is IE online (even if you don't use it as your browser)?
De-install, clear your caches and reinstall. Activate before setup.

I must admit that when you click the little dog (?) in the upper left hand corner you can see if it is registered, and it is blank where the "registered to" info goes. But my problem is that I cannot see the display list. It is invisible. I did have the previous version of this and installed this one because I did like the software. I cannot understand why it will not display the contents. The contents are there when you hover over them, but you can only see that in the ribbon. I'm using xp sp3. I did uninstall the previous version because it would not work otherwise. I cleared everything. I'm at a loss because I no longer have a licensed version of my previous upload of this software. I also noted that no one responded to questions asked after a certain point of the day. If the developer or GAOTD team would just have left a note to say we are working on correcting this problem or you system is not compatible it would have helped. Some were saying you need .NET 4.0, but the requirements don't say this it is 2.0 of .NET that is required so I'm not sure where that info came from.

Roblou when the developer doesn't answer on the questions of the GOTD users, the GOTD team can't help either. They cannot make any changes to the software.
Did you try to go back to a restore-point? I assume, you made one before installing the new programme? Well, I know, mostly we don't, though we should know better.
I didn't install this tool, I'm quite happy with Revo Pro.

If you check the download page, you'll find...
System Requirements: Windows 7, Vista, XP (x32 /x64); .NET Framework v.4.0.30319 or later
An incorrect version of Net Framework may have caused your issue. But it's too late to fix now. However, you may be able to recover the needed files from the recycle bin and use a restore point to recover the prior version as Graylox suggested.

On XPSP3,even with the correct .net 4.0.30319 installed ,the program had difficulty displaying the installed programs icons and even crashed while trying to use the startup manager option.
Using its own uninstaller .inf with CCleaner(..)the program folder, some of its contents and the registry entries were still present.
I'm not saying the program isn't any good,I'm sure it's topnotch ..but apparently not my XP system.@roblou62,chances are you'll still have a registered older version if you google and reinstall the old version.

Robert is correct assuming you didn't use an uninstaller for the previous version. Google the name of the program with the original version number and you may be pleasantly surprised. Though I'd beware of uncrupulous peer to peer sites. :)
