   installation/activation went fine but on game launch the box remains white and the game doesn't load ,on closing the games window the error comes up ... cannot find import;DDL may be missing, corrupt or wrong version file "sqlite3.ddl",error 998

   i downloaded the ddl from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?sqlite3
   replaced the original and the launcher still is nothing but a white box but on closing the box the game launches and on closing the game the closing game window is also a white box once again .

   any ideas on this ? it is quite annoying

   Process Explorer, free at microsoft.com will show you what's using SQLite already -- if you find one see if you can close it. Searching for SQLite files on your hard drive might point you to apps that use it -- make sure they're not running. Maybe try disabling any Internet Explorer plugins or add-ons. Check Microsoft Update to see if there are any updates needed for your PC/laptop. Note: you might have to put back the orig. version of sqlite3.dll.
