Hi Graylox, i hope you're enjoying your time with the grand kids. i'll add some image when I return from Hydotherapy (about 3 hours from now)
:)
I've already got all of these apart from WWW which I never fancied, but the two unreleased games look interesting enough to contribute some money to, also having the others as DRM free is cool (I gave away a DRM free version of Crayon Physics last year because I'd also got a copy via Steam after buying one of their fantastic package deals - {i got for Beta testing the game)
The games are reedemable on Steam and Desura
All the games are Steam reedemable as well (for those who care about that sort of thing), although the Steam version of VVVVVV is not yet updated with the level editor/custom levels.
Cogs:
The Game:
Cogs is a puzzle game where players build machines from sliding tiles. Players can choose from 50 levels and 3 gameplay modes. New puzzles are unlocked by building contraptions quickly and efficiently.
• Inventor Mode: Starting with simple puzzles, players are introduced to the widgets that are used to build machines — gears, pipes, balloons, chimes, hammers, wheels, props, and more.
• Time Challenge Mode: If you finish a puzzle in Inventor Mode, it will be unlocked here. This time, it will take fewer moves to reach a solution, but you only have 30 seconds to find it.
• Move Challenge Mode: Take your time and plan ahead. Every click counts when you only get ten moves to find a solution.
And Yet it moves:
The Game:
And Yet It Moves is a puzzle-platformer, set in a unique world, made of ripped paper. Within the paper-collage you can jump, run and last but certainly not least: rotate the world. Learn how to apply the physical consequences of rotation to master the many tricky situations you may encounter.
You can play a race against the clock on different levels, too, competing against previous clocked times. Your run will be recorded, as a "Ghost" which can be submitted, along with your time, to the global high scores online. You can download other users' Ghosts to compete with friends and strangers around the world and see who found the fastest route.
Following the acclaim of the previously awarded prototype for And Yet It Moves, we present the full version, containing three exciting and beautiful environments and lots of new challenges.
• Advanced platforming: Not only can you jump and run, but you can rotate the world in 90 degree intervals, as well.
• 17 levels with a unique look & feel: Mind-bending puzzles set in an extraordinary paper collage world, with three different environments, enriched and brought to life with handmade sounds and music.
• Speed Run mode: You can compete against the clock or previously recorded Ghost Runs on each level, with marathon runs throughout the entire environment.
• Online high scores and shareable Ghost Runs:Go for the high score by challenging your friends or complete strangers and polish your skills of rotation.
Crayon Physics:
The Game:
Crayon Physics Deluxe is a 2D physics puzzle / sandbox game, in which you get to experience what it would be like if your drawings would be magically transformed into real physical objects. Solve puzzles with your artistic vision and creative use of physics.
Key features:
• Awesome physics
• Over 70 levels
• Easy to use level editor
• Rockets, ropes and hinges
Hammerfight:
The Game:
Hammerfight is about 2D battles of flying machines equipped with various slashing, piercing and blunt weaponry.
A unique combat system is based on realistic physics simulation, and it ties the movements of the rider to the movements of your mouse. As you wave the mouse, your rider swings his warhammer, smashing the foe into the wall!
This creates an unequaled feel of the real strike, a feel of the mass of the weapon in your hands. Simulated physics and direct mouse control creates a huge variety of possible battle techniques and an unlimited field for perfecting one's fighting skill.
• Intuitive mouse control
• Realistic physics, breakable objects
• Great storyline
• High quality art
• More that 50 weapons
• 3 additional modes, up to 4 players
VVVVVV:
The Game:
VVVVVV is a retro styled 2D platformer by Terry Cavanagh, creator of dozens of free games. You play as the fearless leader of a team of dimension exploring scientists who inadvertently crash, and are separated. The game involves exploring the strange world you've found yourself in, and reuniting your friends.
VVVVVV explores one simple game mechanic: you cannot jump - instead, you reverse your own gravity at the press of a button. The game focuses on playing with this mechanic in a variety of interesting ways.
The game is designed not to artificially gate your progress. In VVVVVV there are no locks, no power-ups, no switches, nothing to stop you progressing except the challenges themselves.
Key features:
• Elegant, minimalistic level design.
• Challenging, fast and fun gameplay.
• Frequent checkpoints mean you never have to replay challenges you've already beaten.
• Over half an hour of chiptune music by composer Magnus Pålsson.
• Special game modes, including time trials and a no death mode.
Thanks, Stephen, yes, I too have all of the games :(
(that doesn't mean, that I have played them.)
I'm sure the kids will show their grandma how to play Crayon Physics, that will keep us busy for some time...

Crayon Physics is a great game. The graphics above don't do the game justice. To anyone who is curious you can download a free version that introduces you to the Crayon Physics concept. The link to the one I posted in the forums is dead so here's a new link (I'll need to update quite a few of the older posts) You can get the free version HERE
If you like physics based games And Yet it Moves, Crayon Physics and Hammerfight are all physics based, with VVVVVV a hard platformer and Cogs a logic puzzle game.
From the page where you start the downloads from it looks like there may be two more games to be added once they have been released.
Just a note, a few days after the Humble Indie Bundle #2 ended, those who purchased bundle #2 and paid more than the average purchase were given all of the games from Humble Indie Bundle #1 as a thank-you.
Great bundle, I love VVVVVV :P
At least here about it's a typical indoor weather: rain, cold, rain, wind, rain and more rain...
Good time for buying some more games :)
(Just to keep the thread on top.)

Atom Zombie Smasher got added to HIB3, You should have it on steam shortly if you bought already.
That's cool. I'd forgotten to redownload my Humble bundle 2, two of the games were beta versions only, so the files I originally downloaded have since been updated. I received my email yesterday detailing the extra games plus HB2 as well, though I'd already purchased it when it was released some months ago. Just Redownloaded the beta versions, though one of them I'd already got on Steam. As for the third, there was only one I didn't already have (VVVVVV).
With the addition of the Humble Bundle 2 (HB2) this is an amazing deal. I didn't contribute that much for Humble Bundle 3 because I already had all of the games apart from VVVVVV, but still paid more than what it costs on Steam. I decided to purchase so that I could have DRM free copies. I still got the HB2 bundle added (though I'd already purchased that as well, lol).
I though I'd just bring this back to the top of the page as there are only 13 hours left to take advantage of this offer. The offer ends at 12 midnight Tuesday 9th Aug GMT (7pm Eastern time, 5pm Mountain time, 4pm PST)
Only half an hour left for this fantastic deal.
Its done! It was a nice bundle, so many games.
Took some doing but I got this. I haven't missed a bundle yet. Got all 4 of them.
