Dragon, yes, that note is always there (I think), I clicked register and the note was closed, but the next time I click on "Buy Now" it looks the same.
Under about you find under the text a "Yes" and a "NO" button, clicking yes the web-page
of Pic2ico opens, clicking no you come back to the tool. Well, I have another problem with this programme, Kaspersky has too many questions, each time I start the programme and especially when starting the Help file. I don't allow and get the Help nevertheless.
I'm going to uninstall this tool now, it calls home too often for my liking.

Below this message, it shows Registered to Giveaway of the Day. Below that is a long encrypted Registration number (all stars) and finally are Buy Now, Register and Cancel buttons.

Under "About" it says it's version 3.x and "Register to Giveaway of the Day".

I'm hoping the inclusion of the name in both places says it is registered. We won't know unless we create a LOT of icons between now and the end of the day or 15 days have passed. I created one. I have a few games that are SO old, they have no icons! :)

Dragonlair, I don't think GOTD gives limited shareware away.
Under "About" it says registered to GOTD - that's what counts...I hope ;)

EDIT:

I just read that some users get a note like: "allowing 15 days or 20 uses", that should not be there. I haven't got that note, if it is still there for you, retry the installation.

Is this "substitute" product - Picture to Icon shareware or full version? It's not clear on the product. It shows a registration name and encrypted number but "buy now" is still active.

I see my comment for this one, thank you. To add to my comment I just got the Rome bundle from Gamehouse with a funticket. I went to free ride games and downloaded Cradle of Rome and then saw it was half screen so I remember Gamehouse had a bundle so I got it from them. Playrix I do like supporting developers, but please drop your prices. A lot more people would buy from you. I already have, but I'll be honest I don't have $19.95 to shell out for all those games and it would be stupid because those games can be gotten cheaper elsewhere even your Fishdom 2 Premium edition. Gamehouse has that for $13.99. Although I think your version has less bugs.

Michelle, I don't think that your comments are "wrong" and deleted, especially as mostly WR is moderating them and he knows you.
However, the comments on the front page are not "live" like here in the forums, they have to wait until moderated. So, I'm sure, when you come back after some time, your post will be there. Otherwise contact WR, as he is the main moderator for the games.

BTW, I have made the same experience several times. Maybe it's due to "Akismet" the filter programme used by GOTD. Sometimes even BuBBy couldn't find my comment - it just disappeared somewhere in cyberspace.
