Other fixes include clearing out your internet cache. Often it can be casued by a corrupted cookie specific to the giveaway page.

Or just reboot your modem and/or router. I get that problem occasionally and usually rebooting my router fixes the problem.

You need to give us more information. Operating system, antivirus, firewall? And is all of your other programs that use the Internet working?
