Yeah, it could have been another security program blocking the installation. If it happens again you might try running the Windows Installer repair utility: Fix problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled

Thank you, ChrisS. Unfortunately it did not work. System Requirements match. Interent Explorer connects to the Internet.

The "trialware" program from the home page Convert-Pro not accepted the registration key. Although the file GOTD placed in the same folder at startup.

There are crypto programs on my laptop, so I think this programs or security settings blocked the activation.

As long as you meet the system requirements of "Windows XP/ Vista/ 7/ 8; Minimum screen resolution: 800×600; Pentium processor or higher; 128 MB RAM; 90 MB of free disk space", and can connect to the internet via IE to activate the software then it should install.

Since it won't install, I'd first check the FAQ, in particular the need to ensure that IE is not set to "work offline" and verify that you can connect via the IE engine.

You might also visit the Convert-Pro homepage and download the normal "trialware" version. The GOTD wrapper prevents any error messages from being reported and installation of the "trialware" might give you an error that you can work with. It's also possible that the registration key supplied with your GOTD download will activate the "trialware".

Please suggest how to set up the laptop. On my Samsung laptop with Windows 7 / 64-bit the programs from http://www.giveawayoftheday.com can not start. Windows Firewall OFF, Avast antivirus is disabled. I unpacked all the files in one folder, clicked on .exe file, then appears a picture with the text that there is a connection with the site http://ru.giveawayoftheday.com. After that, the picture disappears and the program is not installed. Internet works well, everything to do with administrator privileges. Tried on two programs, yesterday - yesterday's Product of the day today - in today's day COVERT Pro product. I think on my laptop off any service, the question - what are they? Checked on a wife's laptop - all runs, ie I doing right the installation. Her laptop used another antivirus, it is DrWEB with his own Firewall.
Дублирую по-русски. Прошу подсказать, как настроить ноутбук. На моем ноутбуке Самсунг с Windows 7 / 64 bit программы не запускаются. Брандмауэр Windows оключил, антивирус Avast отключал. Распаковываю все файлы в одну папку, кликаю на .exe файл, появляется картинка с текстом, что происходит соединение с сайтом http://ru.giveawayoftheday.com/. После этого картинка пропадает, а программа не устанавливается. Интернет работает хорошо, все делаю с правами администратора. Пробовал на двух программах, вчера - на вчерашнем продукте дня, сегодня - на сегодняшнем продукте дня COVERT Pro. Думаю, на моем ноутбуке отключены какие-то службы, вопрос - какие? Проверил на ноутбуке жены - все запускается, т.е. делаю правильно. На ее ноутбуке стоит другой антивирус - DrWEB со своим брандмауэром. Еще гипотеза, может быть на моем ноутбуке когда я отключаю Брандмауэр Windows в панели управления, он не до конца отключается?
