default browser has been set to Chrome. OK but you may need to all-so tell windows in XP go Add or Remove Programs, Click Set Program Access and Defaults (add in Chrome)

I just installed todays Giveaway and the activation went to Chrome, as always. It launches Firefox for you even though Chrome is running? Sorry, I have no idea why. I can only say that it doesn't happen to me and I don't think it's normal.

I've never had that problem and I have been downloading for years. I do hope someone can help you solve this.

For years GOTD's installation program insisted on launching Internet Explorer to open a page after finishing. About a year ago (if I remember right) it changed to using the default browser setting.

Hint: that's the right way to do it.

A couple of weeks ago it changed behavior again. Now it insists on launching Firefox to show the GOTD page after installation.

Through all these changes my default browser has been set to Chrome. I don't want to launch other browsers unless I do it deliberately.

Please fix this so it respects my default browser setting. Thank you.
