Too funny! I just decided to post about "awaiting moderation" when I saw your post, JuniorWatch! My post has been "awaiting moderation" since 2:28 pm ET, and it's now 7:40 pm. Like yours, JuniorWatch, over 5 hours! Once our comments are approved, there most likely will be 'zillions' of other posts to follow, but for now, nothing new since the last post at 12:59 pm . . .

Let's say it's not "abnormal".

It depends who is moderating. Mostly in the beginning of the GOTD day and to the end, comments are moderated. In-between can be longer pauses. Some moderators are volunteers.
The comments section has their own moderators. Only BuBBy is moderating/administrating the forums and the comments, he is a volunteer and not 24/7 in charge.

My comment on the GOTD page for today's software was awaiting moderation for 5 hours. What does this mean? I am new to GOTD. Is this situation normal?
