Purchased flip pdf a long time ago and absolutely LOVE it.. So will be interested to test this out.. Only thing I can't see is how to get this program for $30 :

I have the same problem as Helen. The link provided always loops back into the download page. Typing the link manually has the same result. I'm using the same browser I used to download the software and I have cookies enabled and all that. I've never experienced this with GOTD before. I'm not amused.

Installed and worked fine. It is a sophisticated program with a learning curve; but excellent. Where and/or how are we able to purchase for $30 as stated in the description above?

To find the licence key

Download the zip file and open it

Once opened you will find a text document - open this too

Inside there are information about the software and your rights to use but also a link back to Giveaway

Use the link back and on the landingpage fill in your name and email again

The serial number will now be sent by mail to you within a second!

Is it possible, that the problem resulted from blocking popups in my browser? After deactivating I can see the link destination and fill in my data ...

Christine, I followed your instructions to the letter, same browser, cookies allowed. The link just takes me to the offer page. So frustrating, Never usually have a problem registering GAOTD stuff.

Everyone, -the link within the text document goes indeed back to Giveaway, but should offer you a new form for name and email.
Copy/Paste the link on a new tab.

Check and delete your cookies/cache in the web browser you use.
This "may" be the issue if you are sent back in a loop.
You can also try to deactivate "auto delete cookie plugin" or "adblocker"!

You can try to use a second web browser too. Opera seem to work and my Firefox works fine.

Same problem as Johnny B. Doesn't appear to be any way to get the licence code. Will be uninstalling asap. Total waste of time.

Installed without any problems. Imported a 160 page pdf , (17,600k), made by 'The Complete Genealogy Reporter' program that was built from a family tree .ged file containing many links, photos, many family tree diagrams, lists etc. Conversion was very fast and quality pretty good. I recommend downloading and installing the Ghostscript utility as suggested and linked in program for better quality.

Just used more or less default settings but the options available enable you to change backgrounds, set up a reader to say anything you add for it, so could be used as a quick greeting or reading out loud, particular texts. Clicking links all see to work ok, and you can travel any way around the document in multiple ways.

Well worth installing If you think it is something that will be useful. I will definitely be creating various 'books' to pass on in my family.

I use the same browser I used to download the app, and I also allowed cookies for »giveawaoftheday.com«. What else can I do? Is there another way to get the license code? Please help me.

Johnny B., Inside the zip-file there is a document with a link back to "giveaway" - copy the link fill in your name and email again and the code will be emailed to you within a second!

Noticed this is only for six months' use .

Started afresh four hours later after the first attempt by going to the download page .
Opted for a link to my email address.
It arrived within about a minute.
Then downloaded the zip file .
DO NOT CLOSE your Browser following the download.
(You can minimize it temporarily) .
Go back to the folder for the Flipbk file and unzip it within the same folder.
Open the readme text file , copy and open the link for the key in a new tab of the SAME Browser used to download the Flipbk software file.
Fill in your details in this dialogue window.
A few moments later the KEY will be sent to your email address.
Then install the software . Register the software with the key you have received. That's it.
Had some good results creating two Flipbks.
Still awaiting info' on a decent discount for a lifetime license as today's offer is only for six months.
An occasional use item, but useful IMHO.

Currently downloading today's other offered title (over 1 GB), so for now I'm waiting for it to complete and meanwhile wondering about this title: Is the 520 MB requirement due to having very many included templates, or is the software code simply bloated?

HMarx (answering myself),

As others noted, inside are two installers, one to be used for 32-bit systems, one for 64-bit, each about 260MB (still quite large).

The bulk (156MB) is in a folder which I now see holds the various themes/styles and other appearance items to be chosen for your masterpiece:
C:\Program Files\Flip PDF Plus\resources\static\staticResource\template
(for the 64-bit installation)

Open your Windows computer "Settings", then enter "system type" in the "Find a setting" search box.

The result should offer the choice "See if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit version of windows" and click on it which should open the "About" page. Under "Device specifications" you'll then see "System type".

Based on that result, you'll choose to run the appropriate one of the two installers available in the downloaded ZIP file.

Is there any way to install this on my Win 10 tablet where all my PDFs are stored but that has no internet connection ? ie. I can easily transfer the setup file but how to activate??

Paul Binns, I'm not sure, but many times you only need the internet to receive the registration key. So try to install it on your PC and in your tablet, get the key in your PC and apply it to the software on your tablet.
It might work.

Mario, thanks for the advise. I tried that but get a "network error" ie. it calls home to verify the activation. I also tried to virtualize it, make a portable version using Cameo, but the setup prevents that. So I guess this won't work on my tablet. Apparently, this only works with internet access. That's a shame because it looks to be well thought out.

Doing all that. Have tried several times using multiple browsers each time, downloading and following link to registration page provided in the text file, only to loop back into the download page. Even typing in address manually doesn't work. Cookies enabled on all browsers and address is whitelisted on all browsers. Never have I had this much of a problem with previous GOTD offers.
