The same version 3.3 was given away on March 22, 2021. Version 2.3 was given away on October 25, 2016.

I bought my personal licence in April 2020. So, the development seems to have come to a halt. At that time, I have used it succesfully and considered it worth its value.

Installed, but I can't understand how to register it. Yes, I read the readme. The program asks for the storage device to register. Does that mean I need to erase a USB drive in order to register? Does that mean I can only use the one USB drive?

SidB, any connected USB device is ok, but as mentioned in the description, the software is linked to one single device. That's why it has to be connected at registering.

I could not locate clear instructions how to back up my Win11 OS to a USB drive. Menu only said how to move USB contents to a drive. Could not see how to get it from my HD to the USB.

I am usually good technically. This could be me, but I suspect the instructions are lacking.

Tried firefox and edge but on the registration page after I've filled my details in and click submit nothing happens

You allow me to register to a 3tb usb drive, but then software only works on max 2tb drives.

I downloaded the file and extracted the readme.txt and setup.exe. I am unable to run the setup.exe. I even tried to run as administrator. Nothing happens when I click on it. I deleted both files, the folder that was created when I extracted them and deleted the zip file. Came back to the email and followed the link and downloaded the zip file again. Went through the same process. Still nothing. Any suggestions?

I've downloaded and installed several Giveaway files in the past and have never had this happen before.

The read me states "choose the storage device you want to register". Does that mean I have to select only one of many storage devices this will work on or can I just install it on my computer and use it as needed?

Peter, it says it's a cut-down version of the Pro version. When you start it up, you need to insert the USB device that you want to use it with. It says it will work ONLY with that USB device. That's a deal-breaker for me. Uninstalled.

Peter, If you look at second image shown(at least on my desktop computer, may be different on others) it shows the 'Pro' features being selected, so would say not only free feature.
Does say "one USB device" in the licensing details, so do believe it is limited in that regard.

Appreciate the offer, but program freezes at 7% of formatting targeted USB devive. How is this program better or different than other (free or not) clone programs (Easeus, Awe Clone, DoYourClone, Macrium, Aomei, Hasleo...)?
