Organize your files with color- and image- labeling. FileMarker.NET allows you to mark individual files by priority (high, normal, low), project completeness (done, half-done, planned), project status (approved, rejected, pending) and type of information (work, important, temp, private). Or paint them with normal, dark, or light colors.

File marking can be used in a great number of situations. For instance, you can use FileMarket.NET to mark files that must be completed by the end of the week with a yellow color, as well as to set priorities and completion values. This way, you will always have a clear picture of the amount of work lying ahead and your progress on particular tasks.

Using the program is extremely easy - just 2 mouse clicks are needed! The customizable context menu is opened by right-clicking the necessary file. Custom file icons are applied immediately after the user selects the corresponding command.

I downloaded the software. As specified in the Readme file, I registered for the software key at their website using the link provided. After registration it says - software key is sent to to my email. But it never came even after 10 hours. I did try giving my second email address, but the result is same.

I didn't get the registration code at all. I tried 3 times and always got a message:
"Thank you for interest to our FileMarker.NET Pro Giveaway. The registration key has been send to the email you've entered. Please check your mailbox (as well as your SPAM folder)."
But no code came. It's not in the spam folder either.

thg, The file list that is supported, depends on what software is installed on your system. We have no strike limits. But mainly FileMarker.NET works with files that do NOT have a preview image.

F.ex. FileMarker.NET will work well with DOC, PDF, TXT files. But for JPG you will see colorization only on the details view, cause there is a preview image that is placed above the icon

Denver, No. I estimate about 25% of the software offered on the GOTD site is "lifetime". An example is all FRANZIS software offered on GOTD is as well as other utility and graphics/video conversions titles.

anacebuyer, Perhaps you could consider Chemtable's SoftOrganizer. It tracks installations, every change made to the system, so that every relevant change can be removed. It is so so rare that the supplied Uninstall program from the developer actually removes everything which they installed. They have little reason to spend much effort on the uninstaller. You are no longer a customer.

I had a very old 2014 version of the software, and cannot successfully install this Version 2. I've uninstalled the old version, and then installed the new version, but the software keeps blocking my new installation. I get an error message telling me that my license has expired before I am offered the chance to enter my new license key! Advice please?

In practice it will not iconise EXE. Any exe.
And it doesnt; seem to do any folders either.

I see no advantage of giving my different folders (previously called Directory, Subdirectory) a color. What I do is; Give the different folders a name: for example, DOC, DOCX, JPG, BMP, GIF, PDF, MP3, WAV and so on.

Tony Fisher, Listen, whatever works for you is fine. What I would simply like to point out is that research shows color coding works very well for quick folder identification, often like singing a song or creating a catchy phrase helps remember math (order of operation) and vocabulary.
