Organize your files with color- and image-labeling. FileMarker.NET allows you to label individual files with color or mark them by priority (high, normal, low), project completeness (done, half-done, planned), project status (approved, rejected, pending), and type of information (work, important, temp, private).

For instance, if you work with Word documents, you can mark files that must be completed by the end of the week with a yellow color, and the ones that must be done today with red. Or set priorities and completion values directly on the file icon. This way, you will always have a clear picture of the amount of work lying ahead and your progress on particular tasks.

You need just 2 mouse clicks to color-code your file. Right-click the necessary file and choose the color or icon mark from the pop-up menu. That's it.

I sent email to Filemarker support. They sent me the registration code. After i put the code in it shows as the Home Version. However the program i have doesn;t show any of the features that should be there.

WIN 10. Upon running setup.exe I get a message "Activating", and then " Failed to launch program".

Any suggestions?

I downloaded the software then went to the reg page. Filled in my information

Stuart Wilkie, try to use another email provider. Sometimes services, like Hotmail, don’t even deliver emails if they think it is spam.

I completed the registration. It says they sent me an email with the code. But I never received their email. It is not in the SPAM folder either. Please help.

installation succeeds, says "authenticated", says "enter registration code from email". There is no email, there is nothing in spam or trash. I waited 2 hours, still no email.
Went through this twice.

I too have not received a registration code. I even tried three different email addresses just in case the publisher doesn't honor a email address submitted in the past.

Dear friends! I filled in all the data for the free distribution of Filemarker Pro, after which they promised to send me a registration code immediately, but they didn't send anything. It's not in the Spam section either. Please help me get the code. Best regards, Vitalij Salajev.

Downloaded the program. Filled out the required form to request the license. Did not receive the license. I think this program would be useful for marking my music files.

Zen, the code is sent automatically by the script. If you didn't get the key, it means something has blocked the receiving of a key. Probably the antispam settings of your email provider. Please write to the support; they will send you the key.

2nd computer, same results, installs nothing. ALL steps in readme file in the .zip file followed to the letter. Activation, but NOTHING installed, a few registry entries, a directory with setup file and another, but NO .exe, no windows progrom directory, no icons, NADA.
Just a splash screen, and a dialog from GAOTD that activation was successful.

Corrupt zip file? Deleted GAOTD offer, or just lame install?

please get back to the readme file and read the paragraph about
antivirus blocking the installation. This is what happened in your case.

All steps in readme file complete, visited website for registration code. After splash screen from setup, all I get is a dialog saying successfully registered, no directory in the start menu, no file folder under programs, no desktop icon, no right click option, nada. Where does it install to? How to start?

As @Hans mentioned, it's the $24.95 Home, not the Pro version advertised in the daily email notification. It says Home here on the download page so perhaps they made a last minute switch. I have used the home version before and it's still worth downloading, just disappointed not to get the Pro.

Only problem is using a file manager other than Explorer, or if the file is on the desktop, it won't show the changes. Will not work with XYplorer.

Installed and registered fine, but it doesn´t say Pro, it says "Home". Is there a difference?

Hans Oellers, According to the product website the differences between Pro and Home are:
- Pro can be used in an office setting
- Pro has additional icons for office work
- Pro can mark files without changing the file date/time stamp
