I prefer Allavsoft, it can batch and directly download videos from YouTube, Lynda, Spotify, Udemy, Deezer, etc websites
I like its directly download video to any video or audio format.

I got the key mailed to me at 1:59 this morning, in response to my letter I sent last night, but just receiving it now.
Program registered quickly and easily. Downloaded a couple videos. Win 7-64.

I never recieved the registration information & this ends in 7 minutes, I may as well shut down without Fast Video downloader, unfortunately registration info was/is to slow to use this software.

Can't get a registration code. Used 3 different email domains. This feels like the developer is just phishing for email addresses. How much you bet we never get this activated but start getting spammed.

Yesterday's offer was f'd up by GOTD. The email form wouldn't submit. Two days, two failed offers.

So, I was able to install the software and receive the serial after requesting for it from support@fastytd.com. I tried it on s short 5-6min video from the web and had it converted to avi within the app. I'll need sometime to compare download speed, but it is convenient to be able to have the video converted to another format if needed. Thanks to GOTD and FastPCTools for the app.

Don't waste your time. Spare yourself the aggravation! Not sending activation codes. This is either a fraudulent offer or they are just too incompetent to send out e-mails, take your pick. Either way, I wouldn't want their software in my machine. Uninstalling!!

So far, I have had no problem getting key codes using my email address, save now! While free offers of softwares are appreciated, developers must not let such annoyance taints their offers, lest would-be customers get turned away, losing their positions in the fiercely competitive market!

this is about the 4th gotd I can't get! This one won't send the activation code. I go to the site in the Read Me, and put in my email and they never send it. was anyone else able to get it? maybe I should just wait? I tried 3 different emails and no one got it lol

The Key hasn't been sent. Nor as I choosed another E Mail Adress for Registration. I tried this with 8 E Mail Adresses from me.

Well, I'm still waiting!!! Applied for the key early this morning, and again about an hour ago. Then saw message from Alexa Bennett at Fast PC Tools. Wrote to the developer @support, but never received any response. What a waste of time. Not going to bother anymore tonight. Just wondering, have any of you gotten a response from support?
BTW, My email Sent box is full of emails to several GOTD companies and their developers asking for Reg Keys, and Cant Register problems. Hate this GOTD. Will this program be extended until tomorrow? Or is this just dead?

3 Thumbs Down Fast PC Tools!

I also registered with 2 different email addresses within the last hours. I've not recieved the activation link in any of them. Why?

After having to contact the developer directly to get the reg key, which arrived very quickly I attempted to download 8 videos from various sites to test this out. Of the 8 videos only the YouTube one downloaded the other 7 gave a Check Internet Connection error. Not worth keeping and certainly not worth $29.90, total garbage, but that's become the norm for GOTD's downloads.

No activation code sent yet!!

I E-mailed their Support and received the Key within a few minutes.

How long does it take for the reg code to come to you? I went to the page in the readme file and entered my email address twice. I also clicked on the link in the comments page here 1 time after waiting 15 minutes. I checked my spam folder and cleared it before I did any of the above steps.

I installed it and requested the key by Email but never received it.

This "Fast PC Tools" did not send a license for their software! Same thing like previous Giveaway from them !

Too many negative comments for me to even bother. Thanks anyway GAOTD.

This Downloader program works just okay, but nothing special in the features, it is just another video downloader, not much to really stand out among all the many many free ones already in crowded market.
**It needs a  video trim feature,  so we do not have to download entire lengthy videos, & easily keep the junk parts in videos do not want.
** Along with a video/audio trimmer option, a basic *(Video fade out effect), feature mainly at end of video downloads, so do not have to use an addtl editor program,to edit and re-encode just to fade out video at end, instead of all videos ending abrubtly, which looks terrible. 
**Also, some Addtl Superhot video/audio Options could make avail even if by external Plugins, VST Effects etc)**:
--***(Video 5.1 Surr sound effect to max or boost video sound without clipping or distorting or sound effect to max or boost video sound without clipping or distorting
--(Hot Option to *Auto correct of video resolution, lighting or sound problems like others can already do.

Ya everyone is right the site doesn't send code. This gets a two thumbs down from me one because it doesn't validate and two because there are so many available for free as browser add-ons that are safer.

Asked three times for an serial, but did not receive one. So it does'n work.

With my browser, can't get the button NEXT to work with my email.
Anyway, I'm not sure it will even work because their email filter (regex) is badly written.
My email is something like xxx.yyy-zzz@iii.jj.kk
Their regex: ^([a-zA-Z0-9_\.\-])+\@(([a-zA-Z0-9\-])+\.)+([a-zA-Z0-9]{2,4})+$
Those who know will notice where the + sign is located and it can't handle a TLD with multiple "." like "xxx.co.uk" and TLD with more than 4 letters like ".versicherung".
This works: ^([a-zA-Z0-9_.-]+)@([a-zA-Z0-9-]+)([.][a-zA-Z0-9]{2,})([.][a-zA-Z0-9]{2,})*
although I wouldn't have written that because of emails in unicode (e.g. accented letters) among other considerations.

That was just a very, very basic check on a web site where checking emails have been around for more than 20 years. Here, some guy felt he was smarter than anyone else and constructed a stupid regular expression. Now, I'm wondering whether there are other stuff like that in the code of the program...

Search results aren't different from youtube.
It uses FFmpeg for its video conversion and stuff.
FFmpeg is the first thing it would try to download on the first run.
The only way to choose what resolution (Video Quality) to download, is to change settings, default is Best Available, but it doesn't give a resolution choice after download button clicked, like many apps do.

I don't see the point in a temporal license, regular 15-30 days trial is enough to try a software, if a person is interested in this software, he would want to keep and use it, but when the license is over he would have 2 choices either buy or don't use it, so it's not a real giveaway, rather classic "try before you buy" scheme.

Can Fast Video Downloader automatically detect a video or does it require copy and pasting of URL every time ? Most of the sites i visit have videos that can be downloaded but don't give a URL.

The registration key is apparently being blocked at my @aol.com email. Not sure what is happening, but I've tried 3x, but no registration key. Will keep trying...

Does this software work with Hulu?

Anyone who disables their antivirus software so they can install a program is really asking for trouble.

Check and think first. Their can be false positives for sure, but checking Google or your antivirus supplier first is a must. You cannot even follow a link on Facebook these days safely, (see Google and ransomware.
