I have commented that I would like to see a Video Downloader that worked like a VCR or DVR for live stream.
I asked for a timer but later found out that does not work(I found another downloader with a timer) for live stream. You must be present to push play for the video to start and be detected by the Stream Downloader which defeats the purpose of the timer. (I knew of no live stream today to test your program on) Have you addressed this Issue for "Fast Video Downloader" or is it a simple timer as well?

Just tried this and it worked perfectly. Needed a downloader for youtube because my other ones don't work with youtube anymore. This had no trouble. Had to turn off "Start with Windows", which it looks like it also turns off automatic updates. Will have to update manually I guess, which these downloaders need to due all the time.
Haven't tried converting and probably never will, have other software for that. A definite keeper.

This offering does a reasonable job, although it does not have the versatility of my favourite, And Download Manager.

But there is one very suspicious element that I find disturbing that that despite turning off the default start with windows options, when there is an update, it gets downloaded and installed automatically and your browser automatically opened and diverted to the product page.

This makes me wonder what else is being done in the background without my consent and knowledge.

It's just not the kind of activity that any legitimate vendor would engage in.

why downloaded video shows in VLC that is 10min but stops after few seconds?

why when after clicking in list to sort on size after few moments it just loses that sort?

So where exactly do I get this registration code, and how long does it take to arrive in the mailbox?

Have installed the program but have not received a registration code, so I appear to be in trial mode.

I was able to get my GoTD copy installed on my PC. Usually I use Video DownloadHelper but there's always some websites that free software won't let me download videos on, so having an alternative for when I need it is nice.

Gives basically a full year license for free.

Very nice. Works on a website where Video DownloadHelper fails. Downloaded 7 GB and speed was only limited by my DSL-connection.

I've used this program before and have been very happy with the results (download videos for use when internet access is not available such as a long flight or waiting at the doctors). Occasionally it will no longer download from some sites due to changes in the video source web site but the developer is quick to provide updates and problems usually resolved. I also admire the responses from the developer addressing concerns/issues in today's GAOTD comments. I will consider purchasing this software depending on validity of license provided for $60. I know other folks have issues, but I was able to d/l, install, register the program with no issues on Win 7. Also downloaded a video and it worked fast, played great

WTF? I loaded the file and tried to register it to get the code. It brought up a bill for 29.99 but showed a 30.00 credit so I figured it would cancel itself out when I processed it. Used my Paypal and went through the billing process to see through to the confirm payment screen but it went ahead and processed the $29.99 charge. Now I have to fight to get my money back.

Question to Fast PC Tools about today's GAOTD Fast Video Downloader.

I had purchased this program and still have 252 days remaining on the yearly license. So when
GAOTD offered it again, I downloaded and installed it to 're-up' my license back to 366 days.
When installed it did upgrade program to version 3.1.0.45 from 3.1.0.44 but it also kept my original information from purchased version (Name, email & 252 days left).

Since today's GAOTD FVD is free with 1 yr. license. How does FVD allow users who purchased a license to reinstate / extend their license without uninstalling FVD or registering with a different email address?

When you download a program, and the first thing it does after install is to lock your computer up as it searches for program updates, what happens? It is uninstalled and you move on!

Can it download video from Netflix?

This is an awesome application for downloading videos... i did not have any issues downloading/registering.

The program installed and registered easily for me. I downloaded a youtube video and it came out perfectly with video and music. The video downloaded fast and with no issues. Thank you very much for the excellent software.

I get "key is expired", uninstalled.

Gets stuck on "checking for update" but nothing happening. Won't let me enter reg key or do anything else.

Is it download videos from YouTube WITH voice in it? I'm asking due to the restrictions that YouTube implements a few days ago so it's very important that the software can do this. Thanks.

I really liked this program when last given away. There are one or two minor things that I'd change, but nothing major. I don't like to have programs that I'm not currently using at that moment running in the background. But it's easy enough to exit once I'm on my desktop. I do get a pop up a few times a day asking me if i want to d/l some " selected " music from youtube. I simply hit the " X " and exit out of that. For me, the pros far outweigh the Cons. I can't name on site that I tried to download from where Fast Video Downloader failed. This program will respond differently on different operating systems. Currently I'm using Windows 7 Home Pro and Fast Video Downloader works great ! Recommended.Than you, GOTD.

Note: software adds startup items to your registry! If you have monitoring software you can quarantine or delete entries. Otherwise, the program will run in the background when you start your PC.

Installed without issue on Win 10 pro 64x box, received activation code quickly by email. Tried downloading a youtube video and was successful.

It updated my current version - from the GAOTD in February - with no problem whatsoever.
From the application: Settings, Register and enter the new Registration Key they've mailed you. No need to reinstall it required.

A previous experience with a version downloaded from GAOTD in February 2019 was troublesome. It failed many times to download Internet content and after several weeks failed to download anything. I completely uninstalled the previous version and will give this one a try, hoping for a better result.

Can it download from You Tube ?.

Nice program even if I am having issues trying to keep it from auto running at windows startup. Got this last time it was offered here. Had something like 150 days remaining give or take and just entered the new license code into it and it reset mine back to 366 days. No need to reinstall if you have it already.
