I'm having a problem locating the feature that would offer and make the multiple-sized images that are usually standard within a single icon file.

Peter, the program cannot author mutli icon resolution .ico files but can open them and can be forced to open .icl files though when I just did it part way on from opening the .ICL file it crashed with a DEP fault so i'd say this needs more work to add basic functionality like multi-resolution .ICO files and the ability to handle .ICL files without running into problems.

I have had similar programs in the past - but, this one has features that the others do not - it is a joy to play with this one as everything is included and it is supported by Fedora, Mint, and Cinnimon Mint as well, so quite versitile!

The program and file size is on the same quality level of all the other Falco. If I had to chose I could not not decide which one is better, Falco Icon Studio 8.3 or SoftOrbits Icon Creator 1.8 which is only 1/10 in size, both programs seem to be in an neverending development state.

Interesting program. I will give it a try. Downloaded and installed fine on Win 11 25H2. Running the program seems intuitive to use. Not sure how much I will use the program, but thanks for making it free.

gergn, The pre-registered installer supplied is built to require NT6.1 (windows 7 or above) to be loaded as a valid win32 application because it was built using a version 6.x Inno installer compiler It is possible to extract the setup.exe contents with innoextractor tool and then simply recompile the extracted contents with a version 5.x inno installer compiler and it will then install registered on windows Vista and above and probably work in XP too. I note there is some bad behaviour with the installer script.. for some inexplicable reason they drop several .ICO files into the C:\Program Files\ folder!!! with the lines:
"Source: "{pf}\FalcoSpace.ico"; DestDir: "{pf}"; Flags: uninsneveruninstall
Source: "{pf}\FalcoSpace.url"; DestDir: "{pf}"; Flags: uninsneveruninstall
Source: "{pf}\FalconLine.ico"; DestDir: "{pf}"; Flags: uninsneveruninstall
Source: "{pf}\FalconLine.url"; DestDir: "{pf}"; Flags: uninsneveruninstall
Source: "{pf}\Falco.ico"; DestDir: "{pf}"; Flags: uninsneveruninstall
Source: "{pf}\Falco.url"; DestDir: "{pf}"; Flags: uninsneveruninstall
Source: "{pf}\FalcoGo.ico"; DestDir: "{pf}"; Flags: uninsneveruninstall
Source: "{pf}\FalcoGo.url"; DestDir: "{pf}"; Flags: uninsneveruninstall "
Why they feel the need to do this is a mystery, so is the function of the non-text 110Kbyte file 20M.txt in the installation folder... another mystery! I'll keep it just in case I need to edit or create icon files and my other Icon programs don't do what I want...

anonny mouse, the 20M.TXT file was 110MBytes not 110KBytes and exists in other programs by Falco too and contains unknown seemingly random binary data. Sorry for my mistake.
