I took advantage of the free download of EZburner yesterday, thanks GOTD, it installed ok.
I figured that I could add 2 .avi files to EZburner and burn to a blank DVD which would then play in my DVD player.
I managed to create a DVD using EZburner but then on my DVD player it showed STOP and reported 'Unsupported format'. I looked at the contents of the DVD on my computer to find that it contained 2 .mpg files. I needed a DVD with .vob files etc. I repeated the whole exercise making sure that I chose the desired options but no different.
I have a use for this kind of program but sorry I ended up uninstalling this one.

It's too bad this would not install. Does not give any confidence toward their other products, so although I was interested in the 1AVCenter offering, I won't be purchasing.

Setup crashes on my 32-bit Vista Home Basic (service pack 2). Pity. I was looking forward to trying this.

Could not install. Probably because of the "wrapper". I have Kaspersky running on my machine and I am not going to disable it because someone cannot create software that does not false-trigger antivirus software.
Deleted.

Reply   |   Comment by Skippy  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+4)

Skippy, You do NOT have to disable Kaspersky or any other AV. Just make a testfolder (on the desktop is a good place for it). Tell Kapersky to ignore that testfolder and unwrap the giveaway in that folder. When you now run Setup.exe or Activate.exe, Kapersky will look the other way.

Better stil: install VirtualBox, install a virtual Windows machine without AV and make a Cameyo portable from the Giveaway on that virtual machine. Then export the Cameyo to your real machine and run it there. Your real machine will remain clean.

Quite basic - no bit-rate option for audio, and no resolution option for video.

Installed on Win 10 without any issues. Tested all the various functions without any problems. Like the nice clear UGI. I much prefer this to Burnaware Premium. It's a keeper for me. Thanks GOTD and PCwinsoft.

Today there are two safety programs:
Themida from GOTD
and Getserverdate from PCWinSoft:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/a388hshy5segw6o/Internetcontact.png
Both program's can have problems with anti-virus programs.
If it's possible, disable/pause the anti-virus totally until you get this screen of the set-up:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/8hxbigizcszfqqv/Setup.png
Now you can activate the AV again and finish the installation.
To be sure restart Windows with full active anti-virus and perform a scan.

I downloaded the program and it registered fine, I then tried to use it to copy a songs list and when I clicked "Burn" I received an error code message of a fault in the program. This is a standard group of song files I recorded from my own albums, they never fail to copy with any other software burners. Uninstalled.

I (almost) never disable my AV. Any software that can't install over AV is likely to be unimproved in the past 10 years or so. Well, I did this time and it installed ok. Sure enough, the program UI reveals it to be a relic of XP or earlier.

I've downloaded and installed it without disabling any antivirus and it installed and activated with no problem with windows 10.

When running the .exe file, I get an error message that the file is corrupted, and it won't run. My browser is opened to the GAOTD website and there is a message that the software has been activated. No program on my computer, .exe file will not run. This happened with the last program from GAOTD, also. Anyone know what the problem is???

The program installed and activated without issues on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. I then used it to copy a data DVD disk to a blank DVD disk and experienced no trouble in doing so.

Ootje, I'm using Vista and still had the same problem. I know that my antivirus (Avast) didn't block access to the internet on it because even though the setup crashed, I got the "successfully activated" message and then it opened my browser to the GOTD page thanking me for installing.
