The version currently available for download is not the official release of our app; it is a beta build. The full release version was not ready in time.
This update includes a complete redesign of the user interface and adds support for several new image formats, including PNG, EXR, TGA, and WebP. Because the official version could not be finalized in time, we have made it available for free for one day so users can access and test the full experience without limitations for 24H.
You can download the official version from our GitHub page:
https://github.com/atshak69-alt/ETK-Image-Compressor-Pro
Additionally, we are offering a launch promotion with more than 70% off the one‑year license, available through Gumroad and Shoppy.

Doesn't really work well when you want to shrink a PNG in size. This program makes the output bigger and worse in image quality. The quality lever also isn't as granular as you may think. I've tried to set output quality to 61 percent and another time to 68 percent, but the output file was (byte)identical.

M. H., Thanks for your feedback! Let me clarify how PNG compression behaves and why you may see the results you described.
Our algorithm divides a PNG image into 5 to 100 internal segments depending on the structure of the image. If your PNG already has a certain level of prior optimization, the number of effective segments becomes lower — which means you may only see size reduction every ~20% quality change.
On standard, unoptimized PNGs, each 1% quality adjustment usually produces a measurable difference in size.
We have completely resolved this behavior in version 1.4, which will be released within the next 20 days.
Also, our software is currently the only tool in the world that performs true PNG size reduction with full alpha support and without converting the image to JPG in the background.

But does that mean, if we download the "free for 24H" pro version that we will get the code for the Pro version when it's ready? (NOT in beta?)
Or
Does it mean that if we download the free beta version now, that when it updates it will go to the Full Pro version when it is ready?
Or
Does it mean that if we download the free version that it will only update to the free version - so only jpg?
Or
Does it mean that if we download the Pro Version (Free for 24H), that after 24H we have to buy the Pro version or it doesn't work?
What you have stated so far, isn't very clear and seems like a "bait and switch". So, would love some clarification.
Otherwise, it seems like a cool product.

Tiffanie, Thanks for your comment!
Just to clarify everything clearly: the promotion you saw was from yesterday and it has already expired. For the Giveaway event, we submitted our Beta version because our official Pro release wasn’t ready in time. We tried our best to have the full official version included in the promotion, but unfortunately it wasn’t finished by the deadline.
To respect our users, we made both versions free for 24 hours.
So users could try both without any limitations.
Thank you for your interest and support!

You're saying here future "Monthly updates for 1 year" but we have it lifetime with this promo, right ? Updating won't make this software monthly update for 1 year ?

Paweł, You have lifetime access to your Pro account, but the license includes one year of updates. Any updates released after the one‑year period will not be available for your license.

The free version (=beta) can only save as JPG. The Github version only offers links to shops for the pay-version.
JPG output quality isn't visible different to what e.g. Faststone image viewer does export.
