OK, here is my opinion after trying out this program.
The GUI looks ugly (Win10, 64 bit), obviously the window elements don't scale properly.
I've started a scan on my C: drive. The search/scan took ages - I've stopped it after about
10 minutes. "Tree Size Free" is much faster and the GUI there looks good.
Uninstalled it. Sorry, this program needs more improvement.

Having used Emsisoft, I have found that it does exactly what it says it does. It is lean, with a small footprint, yet non-intrusive, and simple to use. It is a quality antivirus product and I recommend it.

As an Win7 (X64) Adminisrator, I did suffer the attacks that messed up my computer (BSODs), blocking access to Internet, installing unwanted browser extensions, hijacking computer, receiving SPAM via E-mails, installing Trojans, stealing my credit card information and opening access to private bank account, … .Luckily, a professional IT expert helped with tedious recovery and back up.Afterwards, AVG Internet Protection suite with continuous online updating against threats is used.
However, comparing to Malwarebytes free Anti malware protection or (the slightly complicated) free CCleaner, then Emsisoft Anti-Malware might be a good alternative because it has the new protection (complete if you choose the full Internet Protection suite) built into it.Adding the built in function of Emsisofts’ own online heuristic Internet defense system, it keeps you safe with its’ triple protection including extra scan on downloaded files.As a free GOTD license is available, then my laptop (running Win7) is suited for using this protective software.
Hopefully, GOTD is granting me the full license with free updates working once installed.
