Interesting, this seems a pretty impressive solution. It is made by the same company who have created a top performing key logger so they obviously know their stuff.

I just found this page - darn it - i actually BOUGHT the product - 1 1/2 hours later it was obvious that it was not going to work with my system. I wrote the product's support to request a refund - and was told i should have tried the free download first - and should have read their money back policy. They didn't come out and say I wouldn't get my money back - but made me feel like a dummy for trusting them. It's yet to be seen if I get a refund. So basically it cost me $69 to go through what is detailed below. Next time I'll go to six flags!
Here are the problems I encountered.
During installation - the BLUE SCREEN appeared - the computer shut down. When it rebooted - it would never load my programs. I thought maybe it was doing a scan - so just allowed it to sit for 15 minutes. At that time it went into it's screen saver mode. When I brought the screen back.... a screen came up prompting me for a password for my account. I have never set up a password to get into my user on this computer. I had to detach the battery & power cord in order to restart the computer again. I started the computer in SAFE mode. I used the 'UNINSTALL KEYLOGGER' feature to uninstall the program. It still showed up in the control panel's list of software installed - so I uninstalled it there too. It informed me that 'some files will remain (WTF!!) I then shut down and allowed the computer to start in regular mode. After it booted up - this messaged continuously showed up: "Windows logon UI has encountered a problem and needed to close".
The computer worked normally, except that message window would pop up as soon as it was closed . ... every single time. I did a search for the problem via google, and finally bought a PC doctor program that corrected the problem for me. I hope. I'm doing a full system scan and also getting a spy doctor program to scan the system as well.

OK there are already enough negative comments to make it bleeding obvious that this program is a total load of horse manure.
I tried it and now apparently have the problem of uninstalling it. My experience was that the one red bar warning level was invoked for not only Internet Exploder but also Windows Media Player and winword.exe, all three of which the program allegedly "blocked" but fortunately all three carried on regardless of this ridiculous assertion. A no no for sure.So don't bother getting out your bargepole for this DO NOT TOUCH IT

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS!!!

That app locked my computer in an eternal reboot cycle and I could not even go in safe mode to uninstall it. It even prevented me from even opening my computer in the first place. I had to plug my computer elsewhere to make it start again. I had to repair my XP Pro installation with the CD and then I uninstalled that crap quickly. To avoid at all cost.

Looks like I'm having the same problem as many others. I wasn't going to install the program when I saw that a reboot was required, but went ahead anyway. Now it's stuck in the endless cycle of attempting to reboot, but unable to. Tell me there's a solution that doesn't require me to reformat the hard drive.

Some interesting comments, if you find that your virus killer flags this software as "having a trojan or other malware, try sending the .exe to your virus supplier lab. E.g. firefox portable .exe was flagged on my machine by F-prot av as a trojan because the NSIS coding used couldn't be distinguished. F-prot labs fixed this "bug" no more problems.

I think this bit of kit is good if you know what you are doing and use some common sense i.e. knowing what is safe installed on your PC to start with.

First time: BSOD.

Second time: restart loop.

Third time (locked computer to prevent restart): cold reboot, similar to presing the power button.

Fourth time (safe mode): Hanged at Mup.sys.

Ok sorry about the previous post I have been having a lot of problems with posting a review.

I downloaded and installed the program withouot a problem.
After reboot, entered the registration info and set a few rules and let it run.

It came up with 1 certified. (Windows\System\VSData)
I blocked this program from running and had it checked to notify me.
I than ran AD-AWARE plus and got notified that it had blocked it.
I than ran almost every other program and had no other notifications.

I have had no programs go missing or dissabled by this progrm.
I have noticed no problems created any where inside my system.
I have rebooted multiple times with no ill affects.
The program still runs great.

Thanks GAOTD nice program dispite the fear listed in other post.

@#10 and anybody else who mentioned PREVX: PrevX is a bunch of utter bullshit. The PrevX site claimed OAINST.EXE is malware. It had the proper filesize and everything. OAINST.EXE happens to be the open source Creatibe Labs OpenAL (similar to OpenGL, but for audio) installer. PrevX = a bunch of retarded idiots. Don't trust them. Find a different site to get your information from. And the best keylogger blocker software is a real anti-virus program, such as Norton, McAfee, AVG, or Avast.

I downloaded this file, comp;eted the setup, rebooted (so that I could activate it), and got the BLUE SCREEN of DEATH. I did not know how to do the system restore on the computer, so I had to take it to get it reset to the settings prior to this setup installation. I am now scared to download ANYTHING from GOTD

their website profile says
"Why do you need a Keylogger Spy Software?...
"With the power of Quick Keylogger you will be able to spy on a spouse, spy on children, spy on employees, spy on lover - you will know to whom they communicate on the Internet, what they discuss, whether they are cheating or using your company resources illegally.
"
...Which in many countries like the UK, is illegal under the computer misuse act. this isnt mentioned on their website... I wouldnt trust them with my safety... would you?

Luckily the same guys make the antilogger software. So if you and your wife are both paranoid about what you are up to - the 2 should cancel each other out.

Avast antivirus would not even let me install the program without getting a warning that the software, and the website it came from was a threat. I read about this keylogger on the internet and decided not to continue to try installing it. I have not read anything good about it at all. Nothing but complaints. Even if it was a great program, it wont work on Vista. Why use XP when you can have Vista?

We want to detect and remove Eblaster or any other keylogger program.
We are starting to suspect that they may be getting in a back door.

#100 game.luvva - You post only negative comments which are not ever helpful. You need to stop with the constant sarcasm, criticism and the constant capitalization. It is extremely rude. Your alerts to False Positives proves that you are in fact a newbie yourself. Take it from someone who ran tech support for a major corporation for many years - Stick to something that you understand and quit being a pain in everyone's behind.

I downloaded and installed this program. It did require a reboot, but all went well and it registered just fine. I am running XP Pro MCE SP2.

Unfortunately, I have several legitimate, not to mention expensive, programs that require monitoring the keyboard. This program blocked them from this activity and I was unable to find a way to allow them to function properly again. So, I uninstalled this anti-keylogger program as it is too indiscriminate for me. Apparently, it cannot tell the difference between legitimate and malicious activity. Perhaps this is a normal failing considering the nature of the beast. In that case, I shall stick with the protection I currently have which has served me well.

If you want get rid of the installation: after you have installed the program, start the setup again, and choose uninstall - after reboot the program is removed.

I have get also the BSOD after reboot the PC. Also the repair option from the setup doesn't help to get the program working.

Do not install it again.

I installed and re-installed this program 4 times. Each time it locked my computer. It changed computer settings. It fouled up other programs. There is even a so called repair on the installation and I ran that. Made no difference. Opened screen and locked everything up...Cannot register. Even used the individual folders from where the installation works. Still locked computer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE>......

Many legitimate detection programs are flagged by other programs as malicious. This is due to their detection algorithm. That's ok. What isn't ok is that the same developer produces several keyloggers. There's an obvious conflict of interest, and too much possibility of corruption. I'll pass. I'm also questioning GoTD's ethics now through association.

While it's understood that technophiles love to download, install, (decompile if wanted) and test drive software, it's beyond me why newbies and those that simply do not have the necessary experience will install such software.

They obviously don't understand it. It's the "It's free! I have to get it while it's free, I might need it sometime!" kind of mentality that gets them into trouble and then they blame everyone and their dog because it's ruined their machine.

DON'T YOU PEOPLE EVER READ THE EARLIER COMMENTS BEFORE TRYING IT OUT?

GEEZE.

It definitly appears to have negative issues, Avast does not like it at all, it also killed half of my startup programs with the reboot after installing! I had to uninstall it to get my machine running right again! Maybe good for some computer but not for mine!

I believe GAOTD is for our critique of the programs that are posted here I found this one to be way too expensive for the value I can't believe they are asking $69.00, that is way over priced when some freeware will do the job! IMHO!!!! Thanx GAOTD.

You haven't heard of the spyware software that, when executed, releases a VERY harmful virus, and the only way to get rid of it is to buy the product. Lets the company make a quick $50 dollars...

this is very rare because my machine is kept very clean from BS and has more than enough memory. These

I have no idea what does this program cause, but I don't believe it's a coincident.

If the same problem continues tomorrow, this SW will be uninstalled.
