Easy Photo Unblur improves the quality of camera shots by removing excessive noise and sharpening the blurred objects.

Making photos in motion or unfavorable light conditions often results in blurred or noisy shots. With Easy Photo Unblur pictures become crystal clear thanks to smart digital optimization. The program algorithms unblur photos by detecting misfocused objects and intelligently cleaning the noise.

The program offers a range of unblur pics modes with adjustable parameters – smoothing radios, detalization, noise pre- and post processing. Depending on the noise intensity, you are free to use different unblur image modes to fix the handshake, misfocuse and motion blur. This unblur picture app supports batch image optimization that is much faster than unblur photos one by one. Just drag and drop the image folder to the app and start processing.

There are many ways how to unblur a picture, and the most of them require professional skills in graphics editing. Easy Photo Unblur fits everyone regardless of skills in photography and design. The program helps to unblur a picture using artificial intelligence mechanisms. It is much more efficient than flat sharpening used in the most of alternative solutions. A user can preview the result and compare it with original photo before saving changes.

Had a group photo that was a little blurry so thought I'd give this a try. I had the link sent to my email and followed instructions to download the program, activate my acct at SoftOrbits, and request the Full Version Key. All worked just fine. It took a few tries to get the picture to come out like I wanted, but now it's perfect so I can have an 8x10 print for my wall! The instructions in the Help file were very hard to understand so I just kept changing it until it came out right.
Very handy little program and I'm glad I got it! Thank you!
BTW I'm using Windows 7 - 64 bit.

Easy and very straightforward downloading and obtaining License, I have tried several of these programs and there all very similar. what I like about this one is I just drag and drop. The software runs automatically and can be tweaked to my liking. It's a keeper!

I downloaded and tested this software and had mixed results in fixing blurry images.
One word of caution, the large delete button deletes the actual SOURCE image, and I mean actually deletes it. It does not just put it in the recycle bin.
One other issue which is really just an annoyance is that if you close the toolbox (not the tool bar) you cannot get it back without closing and opening the program. Right clicking on the tool bar after closing the toolbox gave me a drop down with the word toolbox repeated about 15 times. I tried clicking every one, but none worked. looks like a bug or maybe it was just my installation that was corrupt.

Tried using it on a 4096x1080 extended desktop walpaper BMP created in a different giveaway a few years back... conversion stalled at what looks like 60% and after several minutes of maxing out a single CPU core it threw up an error alert box "Magick MemoryAllocationFailed '#000000000000' @ error/fourier.c/ForwardFourierTransform/791" And Peak working set (Memory) was only 1,224,632Kbytes which is well within Win32 memory allocation capabilities! Then tried it on a much smaller graphics and with the default unblur tool settings on all the images I have tried that completed the process had significant "ringing" effect on all enhanced edges. What I mean by ringing is the elctrical effect of a resonance on a fast rise or fall change so the data overshoots then rebounds low and then high again then low in decreasing amounts the further away from the change event. It is very unpleasant asthetically and adds all sorts of colour artifacts to it to and with the same settings it produces the same output each time it is run so no evidence of AI learning from its mistakes... and no way to tell it it made mistakes!

I did get the "Get free activation key" button at the beginning of the installation... but then the email in which the key is sent never arrived at the email account I provided (well, not in 20 minutes, since I sent the request) - it's not the first time I do this process, and the mail always comes more or less instantly...
(And yes, I checked the spam folder, and yes, the email account is fine and working.)

I've always restrained form making comments on here and just opt to download the GOTD, but I was laughing so hard reading through today's comments...

The system requirements are displayed prominently close to the BIG HUGE download button so you never have to speculate whether it will or won't work on your system....

The instructions for installation(s) are always very clear (today was download, extract the files, read the readme file, run the .exe file, click on request activation key, fill in your email, check your email, click the button in your email, fill in your info on the new page, and copy your activation key into your software)

I know it seems like a lot when you type it out like that, but it took me less than 45 seconds to get it done.

A bit of advice - stop filling up the comment section with "will it work or no", "does it work for _______ system", and "I have _____ system, why exclude us 100 million users"..... come on - let us know if you like it or tell us what to look out for...

End of rant. ;-)

And yes, I forgot to spell check one word, "form" was supposed to be "from". Sorry.

Michael, If you had been around a while AND been observant you should have noticed that SOME software vendors using ancient programs and unsupported development systems attempt to revamp their products out of date image by claiming it is only suitable for Windows 7 and above even if they KNOW and may even develop the programs on pirated windows XP or Vista machines.

It is therfore useful to know if the published system requirements are in fact accurate or if they are a marketing statement or even worse copy and pasted from some boiler plate PR statement composed 15 years or more ago and added to as new oeprating sytems arrived but none of the old version numbers are removed when they were depretiated by dev systems upgrades. Case in point a recent iPhone recovery program giveaway that claimed to support Windows 2000 and XP even though it demands the latest verion of iTunes to even function which is of course not installable on Windows 2000 or XP.

BTW NOT all emails arrive for various reasons especially during a giveaway as automated registration emails can apear very spammy to automated anti-spam systems and certain email service providers may even deny connections from the server sending out these automated emails. Just because you claim to have had imediate success it does not mean those that did not get to see any email in any folder of their email providers are lying or not entitled to express their frustration at this NON-STANDARD activation system imposed on them by the vendor and not giveawayoftheday.com Also obviously those that are reporting they can't run it either because it does not run in their environment OR they cannot get the license code email and complete the installation to test it are letting you know their experience of the program... give those that can't get the registration details email your registration details and maybe they could then install the giveaway and try it and produce more informative comments, like yours?

Are you a do as I say and not as I do person? I endeavor to be a do as a I say and do if you find anything useful in it, type of person.

Easy Photo Unblur is similar to SoftOrbits Easy Photo Denoise, and Franzis Sharpen projects [which gives you more controls for a much higher price]. And like the Franzis app, Easy Photo Unblur *may* help a bit, depending on the image, but you could *probably* do better using the sharpen tools in something like PaintShop Pro, which can be found occasionally on sale for close to the same $24.99 price. As a GOTD it's probably worth getting, if nothing else to try in those cases where the tools in your image editor don't work to your satisfaction.

That said, nothing will fix a truly blurred image. You might be able to make it look a little better if it's an irreplaceable shot, but otherwise you're not going to turn it into a keeper. If the image has noise that's not too bad, or if the camera lens doesn't produce the sharpest photos, or if the camera auto-focused on the wrong thing, Easy Photo Unblur could probably help, though you might not get a complete cure. Perhaps ironically, Easy Photo Unblur might help most when you've taken a shot with your camera's anti-shake turned on, since that often has the effect of slightly softening the image.

iwontell, Perhaps consider upgrading from XP, then you will not have the difficulty you mention.

Should have an automatic mode that processed a picture with different set up and show the result on screen. This way we could see the correction done on a picture. Right now it is a guest work to find the best parameter.

This is not an "easy" software

Reply   |   Comment by Gilles  –  4 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+9)

Gilles, While proccessing wise it is not practical to do full sized previews to choose from the large number of settings per filter certainly does not provide any clue as to what the settings should be set to. Maybe sample images thumbnails at either end of each sliders, to give a clue to what the visual effect of moving the slider could be, would help? Agreed it is not easy to produce acceptable results with it. Not even sure if it's possible to as I don't have time to sit through thousands of possible settings permutations and renderings and undoings to see if this can do better at unblurring than a simple sharpen effect filter does... the day is too short let alone life!

Phillip, Yes it is good. On the other hand, maybe not good. Hope this helps. It's a difficult decision but you must walk alone and finally come to a decision as to its goodness or lack of.

Same/similar to "Easy Photo Denoise 3.0" ?

Reply   |   Comment by Bill  –  4 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

Bill, Seems closer in purpose to Focus Magic, which deals specifically with motion noise, as well as blurry images.

Installed but no "Get the free activation key" button???

Reply   |   Comment by Colin S  –  4 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

Colin S, When you clicked "Setup" after you extracted the GOTD zipped folder, a popup window did not appear "Get Free Activation Key"? Do or did you have a previous version? If no, I suggest complete uninstall of both program and downloaded files, Zip and extracted, clear cookies, download and try install again.

Reply   |   Comment by DJ  –  4 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-1)

Colin S, did you rename the installer from the default

EasyPhotoUnblur_Setup_pt1.exe

file name as the giveaway activation installer script only runs with that specific file name. Otherwise it will just install the 10 day trial unregistered edition.

It wiped over version 2.0 I had installed so can't compare too much, but version 3.0 is much faster and Presets are more accurate in finding edges you want it to find. I would much prefer Easy Photo Unblur , Easy Photo Denoise and Sketch Drawer to be in one suite. They are too expensive to be sold separate. As a freebie this one is a keeper

I find the only thing that works very well for undoing blurring is a deconvolution sharpener, plus ideally one with an automatic analysis phase (so more Franzis' Sharpen Projects Pro than Focus Magic, even if SHP tends to default to too much of some things, like haze removal). Would they like to comment on whether this does deconvolution or is just a more conventional sharpener?
