The user interface is not at all intuitive, and there's no online help. However, once I figured out what I was supposed to do, the software did merge my PDFs as expected.

Besides improving the interface or adding some online help, being able to access it from a right-click in Windows File Manager would make the software much more useful.

First time starting the program after install, it asks to register (fill in name and email), as clearly explained in readme.txt. When name and email is filled in, and clicked on button 'Get free unlock email now', the program always responses with:

"The server could not process the request."
"This could be a temporary problem. Please try again later."
"Error Code: 1"

I've tried several times, in a span of half an hour, ten minutes in between, always same error returned.

PS: Using Win10 64bit NL, fully updated, internet connection is live and ok.

Same question as always when it comes to editing PDFs:
when merging 2 text-PDFs will they still remain text-PDFs or do they get converted into bitmap graphics after joining?

D. Klettersteig, any text PDF file has the text in the form of characters, not in a graphioc form. So, there is no reason for the programmer to convert the text to graphics. It would be a waste of time and space.

I use PDF Gear and PDF Tools to merge PDF files. Both are free.

gergn, There are reasons to convert it to a graphic first for some programmers as they've not learnt how to use pdftk or ghostscript properly or are just bad programmers... I think you really mean there are no GOOD reasons to convert a text and image based PDF into a single raster image per page... which is more correct, some do it just to preserve visual layout too and that is justification enough for them as far as they are concerned!
