Thank you for giving people the option of free things to try. We can try them or not, no one forces you to use these programs. So for all you ungrateful people, why not just stay off this site, then you will not have anything to complain about!!! Better yet, why not see if you can offer your , well I guess you would think, your know all opinion. Then maybe they would not have to work so hard to help all and not even be appreciated!!!

The software does not work. It downloads and indicates it sent the pictures but when I check my email they're not there. I went on the manufactures website and they said the "trial" version has a watermark. Does this version have a watermark as well? Is anyone else experiencing this as well? email me will you?

Why not just use Picasa? It's free and the tried and true method. You can very easily attach photos and automatically resize as needed.

This is a great prog for quick and easy manipulation of image files. I have far more sophisticated image software that I already use, but sometimes all you want is a basic resize and this application is way quicker to use - faster to open and it doesn't eat up your computer resources.

I have also installed it for my Mum who's delighted - she likes to send family pictures with her emails but does not have huge computer skills so this is an ideal app. Thanks to the GOTD team from us both!

As for the usual crowd of winging wankers, it really is sad to see how the human race is becoming more and more infested by self centered, rude, ungrateful cynical people. It's as if they think they have a god given right to be handed their entire life for free. This site - like life - is a privilage and a lot of hard work goes into it I'm sure, for which we all pay precisely nothing. I wish more people could at least find it within their hearts to provide a positive comment or word of support, even if they don't wish to use that day's free software.

Thanks again GOTD - I salute you.

Thanks Bladed Thoth for taking the time to review this package.
I'm quite happy with it as it really does have a simple interface. I was using Photoshops to do most of my resizing, just because I have the program, but because i've forgotten more than i know about PS's this little app will save me lots of time sending images to my family and friends.

I've kept about 2 GOTD's in the last 3 months, and rarely use either of them, just around for emergencies, mostly. A lot of them are, as another poster aptly put it, snake-oil-ware.

I completely agree with #47, just because it's free doesn't mean it's rooted in altruism. Maybe GOTD can inform us, is this a not-for-profit site? They have capital at stake here, no need to kiss anybody's feet. And as a for-profit site, they should welcome all feedback; it's essentially free market research.

That said Game GOTD is much more interesting and useful.

Oh, and I almost forgot: woohoo!!!! number 48!!! Eat it, #49. What do I get?

This program just goes to show that you can't please all of the people all of the time, doesn't it?! Must admit today's offering isn't for me either - I get on just fine pre-tweaking my stuff myself. Thanks to GOTD anyway for trying.

However, as some have already suggested, for those folk who are less PC savvy, and/or those who don't want to spend/waste their time fiddling with their photos themselves, this might be just the thing.

I think instead of complaining about the FREE sowftwear we are getting, we should thank this site for even bothering to offer it to us. If you dont like it, dont use it. Stop complaining about how the web site is aweful for offering it.

Wow pow kow mow! It\'s free so we have to say thank you. Yes? No!

1. This program does what it should but any graphic application can do it better. Picasa beats the daylight out of it and it\'s free 365 days of the year.

2. To anyone thinking GOTD doing us a favor, Think again!!! They are after the money and I don\'t blame them.

I tried this; it's great! As to the elimination by GOTD editors of silly comments, I don't see why a strict adherence to a guideline that comments should relate to the software is unreasonable. The guideline could contain a caveat that comments that are unrelated to the software will be automatically deleted.

As to whether there are "better" softwares out there, those comments are interesting, but when they include slamming GOTD they're not useful.

I don't get to search the Web for software as often as I'd like, so I have been very grateful for this site. I buy PC Plus Magazine from UK as often as I can for the same reason. I am also very much enjoying the "surprise" factor of seeing what's being offered each day.

Quote: "Enchance photos: auto contrast and color, auto sharp, white balance."

How do you 'enchance' photos?

That simple typo makes me afraid to use their program. Who knows what errors lurk in their code!

I agree with the previous posts - Picasa is a really good photo program and is free from google. I've been using it for over a month now and am very satisfied with it in every way.
But, thanks to the gotd team for continuing to search and offer. Hopefully the developers of this software read the comments and get a feel as to what can be done to improve their product.

Nice work, folks, but I don't see the utility of this program. There is a plethora of image editing software available for free, a lot of which incorporate the 'email image' function, if you couldn't figure it out with your email client.

If you don't know how to put a photo in an email, you shouldn't be using a PC. I can see zero that this prog can do that can't be done already with the most rudimentary of tools that come free with 99% of PCs. I hope we have some remotely useful software tomorrow. This one is dross :(

Only useful if you send a lot of photos, or as the site says "Don't know how to put a photo in email? How to to send email photos?" If you send lots of photos, you know better than their claim "Forget about IrfanView, Faststone Image Viewer, Picasa, etc..." If you use the drag-n-drop ease of this app because you can't figure out drag-n-drop capabilities of Thunderbird or Outlook, then you have bigger problems. This is poor even as freeware, and snake oil as payware.

Hey #14, thank god you were on at 4am to waste your life telling #3 he's wasting his life. Now the world is right.

As the website says, "Don't know how to put a photo in email ?
How to to send email photos ?" This software is geared to those less PC savvy than most. A such it is a top idea. However like most who use GOTDs site, this audience is not us. So think of someone else who might like this. My mum, for one, who even struggles with how to use a mouse.

Totally agree with Michel (#7), this app is useful for people who send pictures to friends and don't want a very difficult to use program, but useless for people who want more control about what they do with pics.

In my opinion, it's not a worthing app.
