I use DuplicateFilesDeleter. It is really friendly and helpful.

It won't install. After briefly showing its checking-with-GOTD window, it aborts with "Problem Event Name BEX, setup.exe_Duplicate Photo Finder Plus..."
Downloaded it again and retried it to be sure, with same result.
Windows 7 Pro Sp1 x64.
Could you possibly email me an unwrapped installer, since it appears to be the unwrap process that fails?

I installed and activated Duplicate Photo Finder Plus 7.0 without any problems, then scanned my Pictures folder and sub-folders. These are the results:
Scanned: 353.4 MB, 746 files, 15 folders
Found: 24.7 MB, 64 duplicate pictures, 30 groups
Spent: 6 seconds
The software does indeed give one the option to move the duplicate photos to another location instead of merely moving them to the Recycle Bin or "permanently" deleting them.

I know for a fact that I have many duplicate photos on my main computer and an attached hard drive; however, I would never want to get rid of any of them, as I see them as a form of insurance should anything happen to either hard drive or even a hard drive segment. With the huge size of most hard drives today, why does it matter if you have duplicates -- even a lot of them?

I installed the software on my Win10 computer twice. However, I cannot find where it was installed and cannot run it. Help please!

after all the negative comments i thought i better give it a go, I'm a drone flyer and take 1000's of pic's and do a lot of after shot processing so i know i do have copies of pics all over my drive's,
I'm glad i tried , it found duplicate's pics i never knew I had all in different folders on 3 drive's, deleted the one's i did not need, about 350 of them,
this is a keeper and will run it 2 or 3 times a year to do what it say's on the can,
And it's free today

Corek, Well, I went to the web site and downloaded it directly. Then ran it with a number of photos, some of them identical but of different sizes. No Matches.

Finds duplicates fast enough. Has a few options for search criteria but when found, gives you the option of permanent delete or recycle bin ONLY.
Unable to set up a location to move duplicates to so this is a no go for me.

Keeper. Finds duplicates fast and efficient. Just notice it does not analyze the image, just finds exact duplicates. So if you already have a duplicate file finder, this is, well, duplicate..
