YET according to {Intel® Driver Update Utility 2.6.1.4} all of my Intel is up to-date..
Plus you don't even give a direct link to what your program CLAIMS needs to be updated it just goes to the site..

DUMo Driver updater is a FAIL..

Also just for kicks I searched for ALL of them on Intel's site and they say they do not exist
(Sorry, there are no results matching your search terms.)

This program sends you to a web site to download a driver, but when you get to that web site click on the button to download the driver it sends you to another website. Not a single driver got found to download from this program.

Completely useless, try to download the driver, it takes to to a google search. no direct download of driver. This is freaking bullsquat.. Dumo is only trying to make money on search sales. So tired of Giveawayoftheday site, too many bs programs and too many hoops to jump thru. so freaking done.....

I think if a giveaway doesn't do anything that its freeware alternative can't, it should be free. I've been using SlimDrivers for a few years now and never had any problems with checking drivers.

Most of the time "Driver Updater" software comes with a lot of adware and spyware, not positive this is the case with DUMo Pro 2.6 but beware of the possibility when installing such programs!! Using your Windows "Device Manager" and Windows update will generally do a very good job on keeping everything up to date. Like they say "Don't borrow trouble" certain so called freebies are not so much in the long run!

Derek, You can install Unchecky to minimize the risk of an adw installation and/or use firewall to block the installer from the internet.

Hi Derek. :-)

The lite installer and the portable version (on kcsoftwares download webpage) don't contain "sponsors".

By the way, it seems you can also remove them easily after you installed them.

Hope this helps.

xilolee, I don't have problems with adware or spyware, because I don't install stuff like "Driver update" software.....no need in it. Plus I use "Malwarebytes" that is great at stopping malware from being installed and keeps anything I don't want from installing. I just thought people should be aware of some supposedly "Free" software. A lot of people I deal with while working on their computers download anything they "think" they need and update driver software is one of them!!!

Please advise how to use the registration key supplied in the readme file in order to register the Pro version of this software.

Reply   |   Comment by Winndb  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

Hi Winndb. :-)

- Open dumo
- click the ? menu (near the options menu, on the right side)
- click "insert registration codes" (I can't remember exactly the correct words)
- insert GiveAwayOfTheDay as username
- insert the long number you find in the readme file as license key
- click ok/save/apply

Hope this helps.

Hi everybody! :-)

Same problem of SUMO and KCleaner (portables).
DUMO portable creates "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\KC Softwares\DUMo", where it stores two files.
I'd like to have only one folder, with all dumo files in it.

I can't also see the Italian translation, nor I can't see easy instructions on how to create it (also for other languages and programs).

An easier method could internationalize all of your software in small time, given that the free version is almost usable...

Thanks for this offer to GAOTD and Kcsoftwares - Kyle! ;)

Do we really need to update drivers? here is something to read http://www.howtogeek.com/233115/the-only-way-to-safely-update-your-hardware-drivers-on-windows/ and http://lifehacker.com/5912682/do-i-really-need-to-update-my-drivers.
Occasionally i use SlimDrivers to update/check my drivers it's free and has no download speed limit like IObit Driver Booster FREE.

Win10 64 bit Home. Downloaded and ran fine. it did take twice to install the activation code and then I had to type it all in. I didn't really know what I am suppose to do. Every time I go to download an update it sends me to either a SUMO Pro upgrade pay this much or to a website that I could easily find if I just Googled it. I thought that was the whole point of Device Manage. I think I will stick with that and Microsoft Updates for my computer. And I often go to HP Support as well.

Suzanne, SUMo was a previous GiveAway. Here, we talk about DUMo, a different product !

Kyle, hey wasn't one of the :Pro features the ability to auto update itself? I thought you said in a previous giveaway that you permit giveaway pro Sumo and Dumo to be updated? Surely no Pro version of either should invite purchase in selecting an update or an upgrade as that is what the Pro giveaway is supposed to offer already which is what differentiates them from your always free editions!

I don't know whether this is my PC only, but GOTD recently gives passwords in "Readme" like :1,1078074087081E+58, not being accepted by supplier for registration.same for this "Giveaway of the Day".

Hi coc49. :-)

What windows version are you using?
What browser are you using?
What antivirus/firewall/antimalware are you using?
Are you using proxy/vpn/ipfilters?

Reply   |   Comment by xilolee  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

coc49, I believe whatever application you are using to open the readme text file cannot acquire the total length of the serial number and gives you characters to indicate just that like if you were opening with Excel, the +58 tells you that the entire length of the serial number contains 58 characters and starts with 1 (as on 110...) capisce? Use notepad ANSI encoding.

coc49, Simply use "GiveAwayOfTheDay" as a name and provided serial number in the "Enter a Licence" dialog box (e.g. in "?>About..." menu item)
