An amendment to my post from yesterday. Ran Driver Techie Pro again today, and it worked fine. Downloads and installations were fast and without issue. It found drivers that my other driver updater had missed. Thanks for this nice software.

Problem source is that app.'s window does not resize itself
to fit Medium (125%) text size is set on Display Control Panel.

Allowed the download & install of game drivers which Driverbooster would not

I'm unable to change the backup path, default is C Drive, I don't like the do backups on my "C" drive card.
With other similar software you are able to select where you want to backup to.

Looks nicer, but not as good as snappy drivers which is free.

Snappy is extra nice since you can grab the full (25GB) version and put it on a USB key to setup or update a computer without internet connection, or one with a really slow connection.

My internet connection download speed is about 500 Mbps. But trying to download three drivers from Driver Techie Pro was so slow that after twenty minutes, it had only downloaded about one percent of the package. So I canceled the download and tried again thirty minutes later. Same thing.

Sounds like a win-win even though it's only a 6 month license.

I plan to use it once now and once again before it expires.

The second time will tell me if I want to pay for it.

I do want to see how compact this is and if it phones home once or often...

I tend to avoid Driver update programs just because they are unnecessary most of the time. But I am curious why this one costs $10 to use when it's not free.
